Flashback Friday: See How 'Reign' Star Adelaide Kane Got Her Big Break

Adelaide Kane wasn’t always Mary, Queen of Scots on Reign, or Cora Hale on Teen Wolf.

Way back before she hit US television screens and completely won us over, she starred on Neighbours – and the story about how she got that role is something like a Cinderella story.

In 2006, Adelaide actually entered a talent contest, which was sponsored by Dolly magazine, and the grand prize was an opportunity for the winner win a role on the long-running Australian soap opera.

“It all went very quickly once I’d gotten through the first round,” Adelaide shared in 2007, after she decided to leave the series only after a short time.

She adds, “There were 4 auditions in total with the final ten boys and girls flying to Melbourne for the last and final audition. By the time the announcement came I had already convinced myself that another girl had gotten the part.”

“I was pretty sure they’d made a mistake when they called my name! It was hugely unexpected.”

However, she did have to leave the series after her grades started to slip. Thankfully, she got those up and then headed east, where she won a role on Power Rangers R.P.M..

Vanessa Hudgens Reveals Most Emotional Moment Of 'High School Musical' Franchise

This will hit you right in all the feels — Vanessa Hudgens is opening up about the most emotional moment from High School Musical.

The actress, who played Gabriella Montez in all three movies, revealed to HuffPo‘s newsletter The Tea (via) that the most emotional moment happened during the last movie.

“It was from High School Musical 3: Senior Year. It was the last moment of the movie where we were all at graduation,” she says. “We turn around and lift our hands up and the curtain closes. It was just so symbolic.”

Vanessa adds, “We were all so emotional and we couldn’t stop hugging each other. It was just such a beautiful moment.”

BRB, going to have an HSM sing-along marathon now.

Flashback Friday! 5 Stars You Never Realized Were on 'Wizards of Waverly Place' Until Right Now

Confession time — JJJ is seriously still in love with the brilliance of Wizards of Waverly Place.

We love everything about it — from Alex’s snarkiness, Justin’s smartness, Max’s weirdness, Harper’s crazy outfits to the magic, the monsters and everything. We just love it.

But up until last night, we didn’t realize how many guest stars, who starred alongside Selena Gomez, David Henrie, Jake T. Austin and Jennifer Stone, took a big leap in their careers and are killing it.

Everyone pretty much knows the big guest stars — Shakira, Dwayne Johnson, Jeff Garlin, Gregg Sulkin, Bridgit Mendler — but we totally forgot about these five guest stars that are pretty big in Hollywood right now.
