The actor and singer won the award for Best Actor in a Comedy (Television) for his work on Love, Victor, which also won Best Primetime Comedy Program!

The High School Musical: The Musical: The Series season three finale featured three more songs from Frozen!
While the cast of the Disney+ show has been performing songs from both the movie and the Broadway musical throughout the season, they saved some of the best for last.
In the last episode of the season, we got “Let It Go” by Dara Renee, “Kristoff Lullaby” by Joshua Bassett and even “In Summer” by Frankie Rodriguez, Joshua and Sofia Wylie.

The cast of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series took to the stage at the 2022 D23 Expo over the weekend!
Sofia Wylie, Joshua Bassett and Matt Cornett performed “Love Is An Open Door” from Frozen before Dara Renee, Julia Lester, Joe Serafini, Larry Saperstein, Frankie Rodriguez, Adrian Lyles, Liamani Segura and Saylor Bell joined them for a performance of “High School Musical” from High School Musical 3: Senior Year.
While appearing at the expo, new plot details were revealed for the show’s upcoming fourth season!

The stars of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series recreated another iconic moment from the High School Musical movie franchise!
Frankie Rodriguez and Dara Renee sing “Fabulous” at the start of season three’s third episode.
The song is of course from High School Musical 2, featuring Ashley Tisdale and Lucas Grabeel, and it’s a fan favorite.
Fun fact: the same day the new episode dropped on Disney+ is also the 15 year anniversary of HSM2, which premiered on Disney Channel on August 17, 2007!

Joe Serafini and Frankie Rodriguez took the stage together for a duet in NYC this past weekend!
The on-and-off screen High School Musical: The Musical: The Series couple performed the duet “Only Us” from the Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen and it’s a must see.
This duet took place during Joe‘s NYC concert on Sunday night (August 14) at The Green Room 42.

Episode three of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series season three is out NOW and the full cast list for their production of Frozen has been revealed!
The casting was teased at the end of the last episode, with Carlos attempting to change the results.
In Ep 3, the final list was unveiled at the top of the episode, and some of the fans’ hopes and predictions came true!
If you missed it, at Camp Shallow Lake, the campers are putting on the first production of a new version of Frozen, and it will all be documented on a Disney+ series (kind of exactly how season one went!).
New cast members this season Saylor Bell and Meg Donnelly do not have roles in the show. Saylor‘s Maddox will be stage manager while Meg‘s Val is the choreographer. Matt Cornett‘s EJ is directing, however, he was still cast in the production.
