Danger Force is coming back with five new, remotely produced “minisodes”!
The new shorts pick up directly following the events of the “Quaran-kini” special that aired in May, with the nearby Bhutt Factory’s natural gas leak still looming dangerously over Swellview.
The city of Swellview has remained quarantined, causing the local news station, KLVY, to run out of programming, and they decide to give reporter Mary Gaperman her own show: “Gabbin’ with Gaperman.” Hoping to keep viewers entertained, Mary invites the Danger Force, Captain Man and some of Swellview’s most notorious supervillains to be the show’s on-air guests, resulting in the most unpredictable of predictable super-reunions.
Frankie Grande returns in the premiere episode, “Secrets Revelaed!”, as Frankini, and we have an exclusive sneak peek right here on JJJ!
The Danger Force “minisodes” begin THIS Saturday (August 8) at 8 pm ET/PT on Nickelodeon, with new episodes airing weekly. Fans will also be able to stream episodes early on the Nick app every Thursday, beginning THIS Thursday (August 6).
The Danger Force actor recently opened up about whether they would double date after quarantine and more.
“I mean, anything’s possible, of course! We’re all, we’re family. We’re always family and we’re very, very close and we’re always really good together,” Frankie told Channel Q’s The Morning Beat.
“I think that for both of us we’re always the most interested in each other’s happiness. So, it’s like ‘are you happy? Good! Great, how can I support that?’” he added. “It’s just unconditional love and unconditional support, and that’s kind of the way we’ve always been with each other.”
In case you missed it, Frankie recently celebrated Ariana‘s birthday at her Midsommar themed birthday party with their boyfriends and family!
Ariana wore an elaborate floral crown and coordinating floral cape, fit for the May Queen, as she celebrated her birthday with friends and family – including mom Joan Grande, dad Ed Butera, brother Frankie Grande and his boyfriend Hale Leon.
In one pic, Ariana got a kiss on the cheek from boyfriend Dalton Gomez.
Midsommar star Florence Pugh took to the comments on one of Ariana‘s posts, writing, “Happy birthday sweetheart. You can have the Mayqueen title today. 🌸🌺🌼😭”
Frankini is back in a new virtual episode of Danger Force this weekend!
Frankie Grande returns as his villain character and joins the cast in singing a new original song, “This Gas Shall Pass“, and we have an exclusive first look.
The new episode, titled “Quaran-kini” and directed by Mike Caron, shows the city of Swellview quarantined from a way-too-natural gas leak from the nearby Bhutt Factory.
JJJ also spoke to Frankie about stepping back into the villainous role, what it was like getting to do a virtual episode, and more.
“ELATED!! I mean, Frankini is the greatest character on TV, ok maybe I’m biased!” Frankie shared about how excited he was to come back as Frankini. “It is always a delight when I get the call from the network to return on Danger Force!”
Tune in to Danger Force: Quaran-kini THIS Saturday (May 9) at 8pm ET/PT on Nickelodeon!

The Henry Danger actor will be reprising his role of villain Frankini in the upcoming spin-off series.
“I’m really excited! I was so bummed to hear that Henry Danger was ending and I was really hoping that I wouldn’t have to say goodbye to Frankini,” Frankie said in an interview with Access.
The show follows four kids – Chapa, Miles, Mika and Bose – who are recruited to attend Swellview Academy for the Gifted (SW.A.G. for short), a school conceived by Captain Man and brought to life by Schwoz, after having been accidentally mutated in the fight to save Swellview.
