It’s nearly hard to believe it’s already here, but the season two finale of Cruel Summer has arrived!
This season took on a whole new storyline set in the waterfront town of Chatham, Washington., centered around Y2K.
Continuing the theme of three different timelines, season two tracked the early friendship between Megan, Isabella and Megan’s best friend Luke, the love triangle that blossomed, and the mystery that would impact all of their lives going forward.

Freeform is cleaning house!
The Disney-owned network has gone through some changes over the last few years and have said goodbye to many of it’s shows and programming.
As they continue to air re-runs of shows like The Office and Family Guy, they’re also churning out new, original content with shows like grown-ish and Cruel Summer, as well as Good Trouble.
This year has been quite the year for TV show cancelations, but also renewals, and that has been no different at Freeform.
While they do have new shows in development that they’ve yet to announce, we’re taking a look at everything they have canceled, renewed and announced to be ending in 2023, so far.

Cruel Summer season two is heating up!
The hit anthology series from Freeform is in the middle of it’s second season and it’s holding up against the massive hit of a first season.
Following the show’s midseason finale last week, the showrunner opened up about taking on the series and teased what’s to come in the second half.

Freeform is saying goodbye to two of it’s shows…
Deadline reports on Friday (June 30) that both Single Drunk Female and The Watchful Eye will not be getting new seasons on the network.
Single Drunk Female aired for just two seasons, while The Watchful Eye was one of the new shows premiering on Freeform this year.
This news, plus the previously announced ending of grown-ish means there will only be four shows left on the network!

The Freeform series will premiere it’s sixth and final season NEXT Wednesday (June 28), and the network just released the trailer for the final episodes.
