Stranger Things season four won’t be premiering until next year due to the pandemic, but the cast has finally returned to set to continue working on the upcoming episodes.
We have some brand new photos for you to check out!
Natalia Dyer was spotted in costume as Nancy Wheeler while filming a scene outside of the makeshift Hawkins High School on Thursday (October 1) in Atlanta, Ga.
The official Stranger Things account on Twitter teased the return to set that same day with a new photo. They posted a photo of the clap board with the caption, “meanwhile in the upside down…”
Production on season four initially began earlier this year, but it was paused after just a few weeks due to the pandemic. The new episodes are expected to premiere in 2021.
The 17-year-old Stranger Things actor got himself a summer job like a normal teen, while off from production during the pandemic.
THR confirmed that Gaten “took up a side job by working alongside a few family members at a local restaurant on Long Beach Island as a way to pass the time.”
They also dished that despite trying to stay incognito in a hat and a mask covering most of his face, some people were still able to recognize him.
Stranger Things, like every other production across the world, had to shut down filming earlier this year due to Coronavirus, and they were already a month into production.
“Let’s have high hopes in these times,” Millie wrote on Instagram, referring to herself and her co-stars belting out Panic at the Disco‘s “High Hopes.” “Hope this brightens up your day 💛☀️🌈.”
