Ally Brooke is remembering George Michael with a special message.
The 23-year-old Fifth Harmony singer took to Instagram to share her memories of the late singer, who died this weekend from heart failure.

“So sad. My George. One of my biggest inspirations of ALL time,” Ally wrote. “He inspired me as an artist to dare to dream. To create what your mind orchestrates. His voice and music spoke to me in such a chilling way.”
She continued, “I can’t tell you how many times I watched his videos growing up. We were just watching his videos last night, crazily enough. George was one of my first crushes. He awed me with his art. He always will. Wish I could’ve met you. Rest In Peace, babe.”

It’s a sad day for the music industry as we learn about the passing of George Michael.
The legendary English singer passed away peacefully at home at the age of 53 over the Christmas period due to heart failure.

Earlier this morning, Sam Smith made his return to Twitter to share his love and support for George. Sam‘s last tweet was in June following the shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando.
