Co-written and co-produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem picks up a new, animated story following the world’s famous Ninja Turtles.
Jaden Smith and the rest of the stars of The Get Down take over the red carpet at the show’s premiere at Lehman Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday night (August 11) in New York City.
Jaden recently opened up about how he got into hip-hope, saying, “I liked hip-hop before I saw You Got Served, but You Got Served is what got me into the culture of the dancing and the B-Boy steez of everything,” he told BET.
Jaden added, “Kids nowadays, they need to know where all this got started. They need to know how this all came about.”

The 24-year-old actor’s co-star Giancarlo Esposito gave an update on his condition following the freak accident that left him hospitalized a couple weeks ago in Vancouver, Canada.
“He’s healing very well,” Giancarlo told E! News. “He got put together a couple of weeks ago…He’s one tough cookie.”
While production was immediately shut down, Giancarlo says shooting will pick back up on May 15.
“He got his bell rung,” he added. “I would imagine many who witnessed thought that was it…[But] he’s a survivor. The one good thing about Dylan that I think is going to help him get back on schedule with us very soon is he has a great attitude.”
The 24-year-old actor, who also stopped by Live! With Kelly & Michael and the SiriusXM Studios that day, opened up about all the action scenes in the film, which hits theaters on Friday, September 18!
The day before, Dylan was joined by co-stars Kaya Scodelario, Giancarlo Esposito, and Rosa Salazar as they promoted the film at Despierta America after attending a fan event in Miami, Fla.
