This week, Gianna Isabella and Olivia Rox, sadly, didn’t make it through to the Top 8 on American Idol.
But the singers aren’t letting that get them down one bit, because they know bigger things are coming
Both Olivia, 17, and Gianna, 15, took to social media to write sweet online messages to their fans.
“Definitely bummed 2 have not made it further in the comp, but happy 4 all the good that came out of it!” Olivia shared with one fan, adding, “But I’m excited 2 say there r already a few things in the works 4 the future…! Thx 4 being a #roxstar!”

We sadly had to say goodbye to TWO talented singers on the latest episode of American Idol and now we are down to the top 8 singers!
As the show has moved to one episode a week, the two people with the lowest amount of votes from last week’s performance show was eliminated at the top of tonight’s episode.
One contestant will be sent home each week until the series finale in May and the judges – Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick Jr. – will not be getting to save two singers as they have in past seasons.

The American Idol Top 10 gather for a celebratory photo after the show in Los Angeles on Thursday night (February 25).
Just after the show, the finalists — La’Porsha Renae, MacKenzie Bourg, Tristan McIntosh, Trent Harmon, Olivia Rox, Gianna Isabella, Sonika Vaid, Dalton Rapattoni, Avalon Young and Lee Jean — hit up the after party held at The London Hotel in West Hollywood.
Judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick, Jr., as well as Ryan Seacrest also joined the bash after the live show.
