The 26-year-old actress recently chatted about her debut as an author and had this to say:

On penning her first book: “I’d been wanting to eventually write a book, it was sort of like the next thing on my bucket list and the universe opened it arms and was like, here’s your chance! There are some really cool books out there and I just feel like there’s not a lot of motivational ones that are relatable for teens. I wish when I was younger I had a book like this.”

On her Glee co-stars helping with the book: “Yeah, a ton of them did! I have these really cool pull quotes where I asked them all the same question and its their definition and answer. There are quotes from Lea Michele, Kevin McHale, Harry Shum Jr., Becca Tobin, Vanessa Lengies, and Darren Criss, you name it.”

The hilarious Lauren Zizes, played by the 26-year-old actress, was briefly a part of Glee‘s New Directions. She also dated Mark Salling‘s Puck!

According to TV Line, Ashley returns “just in time for the school’s Sadie Hawkins Dance.”

Lea Michele and Chris Colfer take separate breaks from filming on the set of Glee on Tuesday (December 18) in Los Angeles.

The 25-year-old actress chatted up a few crew members between scenes with her bestie. “Back on set at #glee.. Shooting with @chriscolfer! :)” she tweeted earlier in the day.

Lea Michele looks cute as she waves hello while heading to the Glee set on Wednesday afternoon (December 12) in Los Angeles.

The 25-year-old actress greeted her co-stars Dianna Agron and Naya Rivera with warm hugs hello when they joined her on set.

The three girls kept warm under their winter coats in between takes, and Lea even rocked a fluffy pink robe while on a break.

The cast of Glee spreads Christmas cheer for all to hear in this new still from Glee.

In “Glee, Actually,” Sam (Chord Overstreet) and Brittany (Heather Morris) try to live their lives to the fullest before the Mayan apocalypse while Jake (Jacob Artist) and Puck (Mark Salling) spend Hanukkah together.

Meanwhile, Artie (Kevin McHale) has a life-changing dream; and Kurt (Chris Colfer) has a special Christmas.

Naya Rivera belts out the classic song “Silent Night” in this new track, provided exclusively to JustJaredJr.com.

The 25-year-old actress’ song is one of ten tracks on the album Glee: The Music – The Christmas Album Volume 3, available in stores on Tuesday, December 11.

Make sure to catch the Christmas-themed episode of Glee next week, during which six of the songs from the album will be featured. “Silent Night” is one of the tracks that will not be featured on the show.
