We are just ten days away from the new season of Good Trouble, and a new teaser just dropped!
Freeform debuted a new clip from the upcoming fifth season, and it features JUST Maia Mitchell walking back in to the Coterie.
Her being back was first teased at the end of season four back in September, and was confirmed earlier this year with a first look photo.

It’s official – Maia Mitchell will be BACK as Callie Adams Foster in Good Trouble’s upcoming fifth season!
The show was renewed last summer and after the cliffhanger ending, a producer on the show teased her possible return.
Also last summer, Maia was seen on set of the show and reuniting with her co-stars, prompting speculation of her return, months after it was announced she was exiting the series.
Now, Freeform has announced that she is officially back and they offered a first look at her comeback, which you can see right here.

A big anniversary just happened this past weekend for fan-favorite series The Fosters!
Co-creator, writer, executive producer, director Bradley Bredeweg shared on social media that it has been 10 years since the first day of filming the ABC Family / Freeform series.
The hit show premiered on June 3, 2013 and ended June 6, 2018 after five seasons.
It followed a multi-ethnic family with a mix of foster and biological kids being raised by two moms. Stef Foster, a dedicated police officer, and her partner Lena Adams, a school Vice Principal, have built a strong family with Stef’s biological son from a previous marriage, Brandon, and their adopted twins, Mariana and Jesus. Their lives are turned upside down when Lina meets Callie, a teen with an abusive past who has spent her life in foster homes. Lena and Stef decide to welcome Callie into their home thinking it will be temporary.
“I can’t believe I’m about to type these words: TEN YEARS AGO on this very day #TheFosters was born! I’ve never been more proud of anything in my life,” he wrote on Saturday (November 5).

This week’s Good Trouble season four finale was a bit of a doozy!
In the episode, “This Is Not My Beautiful House,” now that Isabella (Priscilla Quintana) wants to put the baby up for adoption, Gael (Tommy Martinez) decides what role he wants to play in his child’s life. Malika (Zuri Adele) is caught between her career and her beliefs. Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) infiltrates Silas’s cult to speak to Jenna (Maiara Walsh) face-to-face.
The episode ended on possibly the biggest cliffhanger of the entirety of both Good Trouble and The Fosters.

The Good Trouble season four finale just aired after quite the season!
The Freeform series will definitely be back for a fifth season, as it was announced a month ago.
At the start of the season, we said goodbye to Callie Adams-Foster, after Maia Mitchell stepped away from the show to go spend time with her family.
She then returned to LA seven months later and reunited with co-star and bestie Cierra Ramirez. Maia was also seen back on set of Good Trouble on their final day of filming season four, leading fans to wonder if she’d be back. But alas, she did not return this season, aside from a brief, virtual appearance in episode six.
Now, executive producer Joanna Johnson is teasing her return in season five!

Freeform has just revealed the finale dates for it’s current shows!
If you didn’t know, Motherland: Fort Salem will be airing it’s series finale TOMORROW (August 23), while other shows Good Trouble, grown-ish and Everything’s Trash have a few more episodes to air.
Also coming up is the premiere of the docu-series The Come Up.

The former Pose star returned and reprised her character of Jazmin, Gael’s sister, in the last couple of episodes.
In this week’s ep, “Life is What Happens,” Jazmin’s wedding has the Coterie crew all in their feelings. Luca is inspired to create change for the unhoused. We see one relationship end while another rekindles. Isabella faces new issues with her parents.
Ahead of the episode airing, Hailie took to social media to champion Trans and marginalized representation on screen.
