The vampire/hunter series First Kill is not getting a second season.
Deadline reports that the Sarah Catherine Hook and Imani Lewis starred series has been canceled by Netflix.
Here’s a synopsis: When it’s time for teenage vampire Juliette to make her first kill so she can take her place among a powerful vampire family, she sets her sights on a new girl in town named Calliope. But much to Juliette’s surprise, Calliope is a vampire hunter, from a family of celebrated slayers. Both find that the other won’t be so easy to kill and, unfortunately, way too easy to fall for…

Consisting of eight episodes, First Kill will debut on the streaming service on June 10th.

Hailee Steinfeld and Dylan O’Brien walk the carpet at the premiere of their new action film Bumblebee at TCL Chinese Theatre on Sunday (December 9) in Hollywood.
The 21-year-old actress and singer stars as Charlie Watson and the 27-year-old actor voices her transformer car and the title character, Bumblebee.
Also in attendance were their co-stars John Cena, Angela Bassett, Justin Theroux, Jason Drucker, Gracie Dzienny, Jorge Lendeborg Jr, John Ortiz, Peter Cullen, Pamela Adlon, and Megyn Price, as well as producer Michael Bay.
Bumblebee hits theaters on December 21st, just in time before Christmas!
