The Flash's Grant Gustin Clears Up Wedding Rumors on Instagram

Grant Gustin got engaged to longtime love LA Thoma last year and since then, we’ve all been wondering when the wedding actually is.

And according to one outlet, the 27-year-old Flash star is already married — but it turns out that it’s a big lie. The website posted that Grant and LA tied the knot during their trip to Malaysia, but it’s not true.

“It was incorrectly reported, without our permission that LA (Thoma) and I had a private wedding while we were here (Malaysia), but that’s not quite the truth,” Grant shared on Instagram.

He adds, “While we did have a beautiful, symbolic Kadazan ceremony to honor LA’s ancestors, we still won’t tie the knot until next year.”

However, Grant and LA did have an amazing getaway together in the country.

“We’ve had a great time while we were in Sabah. LA’s GIGANTIC family is awesome,” Grant added. “We got to hang out with Masidi Manjun, the Minister of Tourism, and had an incredible stay at Gaya Island Resort our first few days. Many pictures to come once we’re back in North America.”

Barry & Iris' Honeymoon Gets Interrupted In 'The Flash' Deleted Scene

Barry & Iris' Honeymoon Gets Interrupted In 'The Flash' Deleted Scene

Grant Gustin and Candice Patton wear their best tropical outfits in this deleted scene from last night’s The Flash fall finale.

In the clip, via TVLine, Barry and Iris are required to flash into S.T.A.R. Labs after a Level 11 emergency is accidentally activated.

Since the newlyweds are on their honeymoon and no one else is in the lab, Ralph (Hartley Sawyer) decides to take advantage and watch some Netflix, but triggers an alarm instead. As you can imagine, Iris is less than thrilled to have to come back for something not so emergency-related.

“Do you know how hard it is to run in flip flops?” Barry says at the end of the clip. LOL!

'The Flash's Barry Allen & Iris West's Wedding Vows Will Make You Cry Happy Tears (Video)

'The Flash's Barry Allen & Iris West's Wedding Vows Will Make You Cry Happy Tears (Video)

The Flash‘s Barry and Iris are FINALLY married!!!

After going through probably what will go down as the worst wedding “reception”, the longtime on-screen couple finally got to say their vows in the park in the final scenes of the Arrowverse crossover, along with Oliver and Felicity, who also tied the knot there as well.

However, it was Barry and Iris’ wedding vows that truly owned the scene and you’ll see exactly why:

“I tried to write mine, but then I realized that I didn’t need to,” Barry began. “My entire life has been marked by two things. The first one is change. From when I was a kid to when I was an adult, things were always changing.”

“But no matter how different things became or what new challenges I had to face, I always had the other thing that my life was marked by. That’s you. You’ve always been there, as a friend, as a partner, as the love of my life. You’re my home, Iris, and that’s one thing that will never change.”

“That was really nice,” Iris says, before reciting her own vows, which will make you cry so many happy tears: “When I was nine years old, I wanted to be a ballerina, remember, even though I was not a very good dancer. The day of the recital, I froze. I couldn’t move. And I wanted to die. Then I looked into the audience, and I saw you. You got up, and climbed up on the stage, and you did that whole routine with me. And we killed it!”

She adds, “I mean, we brought the house down. And from that moment, I knew that with you by my side, anything was possible. The Flash may be the city’s hero, but you, Barry Allen, you’re my hero, and I am happy, excited and honored to be your wife.”

Did We Meet Barry & Iris' Future Daughter on 'Crisis on Earth-X' Crossover?

Did We Meet Barry & Iris' Future Daughter on 'Crisis on Earth-X' Crossover?

During the first two hours of the new Arrowverse crossover, Crisis on Earth-X, we got to meet a new mysterious character, who was just so excited to meet Barry Allen (Grant Gustin).

After the waitress’ appearance during Barry and Iris’ wedding, fans had a big suspicion that the waitress (played by Jessica Parker Kennedy) could be none other than one of the Tornado Twins, Dawn.

In the comics, Dawn and Don Allen are the 30th-century descendants of Barry Allen, who died before their birth during the events of Crisis on Infinite Earths.

EW suspects that the waitress is Dawn, who during the wedding tried to calm Barry’s nerves ahead of the nuptials; and who time-traveled just to see the big day.

Another theory suggests that the waitress could be XS, a.k.a Jenni Ognats, who is Barry’s granddaughter and also a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes.

TELL JJJ: What are your theories? Who is this mysterious waitress?

Candice Patton Previews Challenges Are Ahead for Barry & Iris on Tonight's 'The Flash'

Candice Patton Previews Challenges Are Ahead for Barry & Iris on Tonight's 'The Flash'

Barry and Iris will be getting over their biggest challenge yet on The Flash tonight.

Candice Patton teases that there will be a “little bit of tension” between them as Barry (Grant Gustin) becomes obsessed with DeVoe.

“Iris is going to be a little worried about how serious he’s taking this DeVoe character,” she shared with TVLine. “There’s a lot more than meets the eye with him and it kind of ends up driving Barry crazy, because he thinks he knows more about this guy, that he’s not all that he’s cracked up to be, or that he’s portraying himself to be. It pushes Barry to do some things that could possibly get him in trouble.”

Tonight will all be about Iris and Barry working together and her trying to stop him from obsessing.

“I think she thinks, ‘Barry, you’ve got to take a step back, or you could end up in a lot of trouble. You can’t go after people like that. There are laws and rules,’” Candice says.

The Flash airs TONIGHT @ 8PM ET/PT on The CW.

Grant Gustin Stands With 'Arrow' Cast & Crew Amid EP Andrew Kreisberg's Suspension

Grant Gustin Stands With 'Arrow' Cast & Crew Amid EP Andrew Kreisberg's Suspension

Grant Gustin is the latest Arrowverse star to comment on the allegations surrounded EP Andrew Kreisberg, who was accused of sexual misconduct by 19 women and 4 men.

The Flash star took to Instagram to post a powerful message, standing beside and supporting all who have come forward with the situation.

“I can sometimes forget that I live in a world where not everyone has the same rights and privileges as I do,” he starts. “I realize that’s my privilege that makes me forget. Hearing of different men, again and again, especially in the industry that I work in, treating women as if they are less than, and both physically and emotionally abusing them has become a daily occurrence.”

Grant continues, “This is not ok. This can’t become our new normal. These last few weeks I haven’t been sure what to say, so let me just say this. I want to be better. I want to be a better man, a better ally. And I especially want all of the women in my life to know that I hear them, I stand with them, and I support them.”

“I’m in awe of not just the women who have spoken out these last few weeks, but any woman who has ever done so. I can’t imagine how terrifying it must be and how much courage and strength it takes.”

“These women are the real superheroes, and they should be treated as such.”

'The Flash' Built An Entire Church For Barry & Iris' Upcoming Wedding

'The Flash' Built An Entire Church For Barry & Iris' Upcoming Wedding

The Flash is a go big or go home kind of show, so it’s understandable that they’d go the extra mile for Barry and Iris’ upcoming wedding too.

Grant Gustin spoke to reporters on the set recently and opened up about his character’s upcoming nuptials to Iris West, played by Candice Patton.

“It’s a comic book wedding, so it’s classic,” he shared. “It’s beautiful. But obviously, things aren’t going to be perfect. Something’s going to happen. But it’s classical, it’s classic beautiful wedding. It’s cool.”

Grant also dished that the set designers actually built an entire cathedral for the wedding.

“It was in this warehouse that they built a church. It was insane,” Grant adds. “You thought you were in a real church and it was beautiful. I’m excited for everyone to see it.”

Barry and Iris will say “I Do” in the upcoming crossover event at the end of November.
