It may just be a two second moment, but Taylor Swift showed us that she could play Sandy in Grease one day with her off the cuff rendition of “Hopelessly Devoted to You.”
The 26-year-old singer watched the Grease: Live broadcast with her pal Gigi Hadid, who sneakily recorded a clip of Taylor singing along to Julianne Hough‘s rendition of the classic song.
Taylor can be heard belting out the lyrics while Gigi mouths the words instead. Watch the clip below!
We still can’t get the songs from Grease: Live out of our heads after last night’s amazing production, so thankfully Fox has uploaded almost every performance video online!
Some of the ones that we can’t stop watching include Vanessa Hudgens‘ heart-breaking rendition of “There Are Worst Things I Could Do” and Keke Palmer‘s show-stopping number “Freddy My Love,” which wasn’t featured in the movie version.
Make sure to listen to the soundtrack to hear all the great songs again. The album is climbing the charts on iTunes and it currently sits in the top five.
