The 29-year-old singer just joined Fox’s upcoming production of Grease: Live as Frenchy, along with actress Kether Donohue, who will play Jan and David Del Rio as Putzie.
The threesome join the already cast Julianne Hough as Sandy, Vanessa Hudgens as Rizzo, Aaron Tveit as Danny Zuko, Carlos PenaVega as Kenickie and Keke Palmer as Marti.
Jessie J will also open the live production with an updated version of “Grease (Is the Word)”.
Grease: Live premieres on January 31st @ 7PM ET/PT on Fox.

Why didn’t we think of Max Adler when we were dream casting the T-birds for Fox’s upcoming Grease Live?
The 29-year-old Switched at Birth and Glee actor would love to play the role of Sonny!
“So remember how they did Sound of Music Live & Peter Pan Live? Well, now they’re doing Grease. I want to be Sonny (TBird) Start a petition??” he tweeted on Saturday afternoon (February 28).
Max continued and showed off a few pics, “I played him in high school and now I want to play him again for you! On TV! And finally get to sing & dance ;)”

Grease is the word!
Vanessa Hudgens and Julianne Hough have been announced as the first names to be cast for Fox’s upcoming Grease!
Julianne, 26, will play Sandy, played by Olivia Newton-John in the movie and Vanessa, also 26, will take on the role of Rizzo, played by Stockard Channing.
“Grease is one of the movies that made me want to be an entertainer, and I have literally been waiting my whole life to play Sandy,” Julianne shared in a statement. “My siblings and I watched it and played it out over and over when we were kids. This is my dream role and performing it live on television will be one of the most thrilling opportunities I’ve had in my career so far.”
Vanessa added, “Being Rizzo is something I’ve never imagined, and I love that because it will be a new challenge. She is such an iconic character that continues to transcend generations. I cannot wait to bring her to life on live television. I’m going to be a Pink Lady!”
Grease is expected to premiere @7PM ET/PT on Sunday, January 31, 2016.
