We can not get over Greyson Chance‘s newest lyric video for his new track, “Meridians”!
The 17-year-old singer gave his fans a first listen through Twitter over the weekend after tweeting, “i hope Meridians is still feeling fresh in all of your musical brains (: happy Friday!”
“‘Meridians’ has occupied a special place in my heart for quite some time and I am truly excited for you all to live with the song as I have,” Greyson wrote in a letter to fans on his website about the new song.

Greyson will co-host the 3rd Annual SchoolJam USA finals event with a teen battle of the bands competition which will take place on January 21st in Downtown Disney.
“I am honored to be a part of a program with NAMM that is encouraging students to grow their musical talents,” Greyson shared in a statement. “Music is such an important part of my life and I am very excited to help shine the spotlight on some new talent �” it’s important to me to support programs like SchoolJam USA and foster ongoing music education.”
The winning band will perform at the original SchoolJam festival in Frankfurt, Germany in spring 2012; receive a music video recording session on the John Lennon Educational Bus along with cash prizes of $1,000 to purchase of new gear and $5,000 for their school music programs.

A part of the Rock the Red Kettle Concert, the 14-year-old performed a few songs off of his new album, Hold On Til The Night.
The Rock the Red Kettle Concert raises awareness for The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign, the oldest annual charitable fundraiser of its kind in the United States. Money raised during the campaign helps the Army serve 30 million Americans in need each year in communities nationwide through an array of programs including toys for kids, coats for the homeless and food for the hungry.

Greyson Chance takes the stage at the ACLU of Southern California’s 2011 Bill of Rights Dinner held at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel on Monday night (December 12) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The 14-year-old musician tickled the ivories for the audience. He tweeted, “Very honored to be performing at the @ACLU dinner tonight. All acoustic!”
Recently chatting with EOnline, Greyson about his dreams of being on Glee.
“I really like it too because they really [do] a lot of old music, which I’m a huge old music lover,” Greyson shared. “Me and my sister, we both are huge vinyl record collectors, so I remember when Glee did the whole Journey thing we were always watching. I just love old music and Glee just brings back a lot of old music.”
Greyson will also be heading to Universal Studios Hollywood this weekend. He’ll be reading Dr. Seuss‘ “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and later that night will hit the stage alongside Honor Society for the Rock The Red Kettle concert, benefiting The Salvation Army.
