Tyler Alvarez and Griffin Gluck strike a pose at the American Vandal Q&A, premiere, and reception!

The Pretenders actor and the Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life star teamed up for the event held on Thursday (April 4) in Hollywood.

They were joined by their co-stars Joe Farrell, Melvin Gregg, co-creator and EP Dan Perrault, director and writer Tony Yacenda, and EP and showrunner Dan Lagana.

The last season of the Netflix show premiered last year, and Lagana told IndieWire after the event that the series’ future is “yet to be determined.”

“The honest truth about the future is, we don’t know,” added Perrault. “But, we don’t look at it as a sad, final season; It’s not. Regardless of the future, each season is kind of self contained.”

“The show is an ode to a generation,” Tony shared, “and the way in which people can connect and relate and acknowledging the challenges without damning a generation or social media in general.”

“‘We’re not the worst generation. We’re just the most exposed,’” Tyler quoted. “My parents were comparing themselves to people in their school, people in their community. I’m comparing myself to people around the world, to everybody, and there’s a standard that’s set and it’s not realistic.”

Griffin Gluck and Sydney Sweeney pose together at the premiere of Big Time Adolescence during the 2019 Sundance Film Festival held at Eccles Center Theatre on Monday night (January 28) in Park City, Utah.

The two actors were joined by co-stars Emily Arlook, Thomas Barbusca, Brielle Barbusca, and Pete Davidson before heading to the after parties for the flick.

Earlier in the day, Griffin was spotted at the IndieWire Studio Presented by Dropbox.

Big Time Adolescence centers on a suburban teenager, who comes of age under the destructive guidance of his best friend, an aimless college dropout.

Ava Michelle has booked the lead role in Netflix’s forthcoming film, Tall Girl!

The 16-year-old actress will star as Jodi, a high school student who must embrace what makes her different and be proud to stand out, not fit in.

Griffin Gluck will star in Tall Girl as Jack Dunkleman, Jodi’s best friend; and Luke Eisner as Stig, a handsome – and equally tall – Swedish foreign exchange student.

Sabrina Carpenter is Harper, Jodi’s beautiful and extremely melodramatic pageant-winning older sister and Paris Berelc stars as Liz, the unconventional best friend of Jodi’s tormentor.

Other cast members include Anjelika Washington as Fareeda, Jodi’s best friend who seems to have it all figured out; Clara Wilsey as Kimmy, the most popular girl at school and Jodi’s nemesis; Rico Paris as Schnipper, a popular jerk and one of Jodi’s regular tormentors; and Steve Zahn and Angela Kinsey as Jodi and Harper’s parents.

Production on Tall Girl will begin this week in New Orleans.

Paris Berelc shows off her fit abs at Variety’s 2018 Power of Young Hollywood held at Sunset Tower Hotel on Tuesday night (August 28) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The -year-old actress met up with her Alexa & Katie co-star Isabel May at the event, plus singers Daya and Madison Beer.

The Best Friends Whenever star and the Lethal Weapon actress have officially graduated from Oak Park Independent School in Oak Park, Calif.

They shared their milestone moment with fans on Instagram on Friday (May 25).

“Oh btw I finished high school yesterday 💛👩🏻‍🎓,” Landry captioned the photo below, while Chandler wrote, “High school ✔️.”

The two are also featured in a group photo featuring their fellow grad Griffin Gluck.

Chandler will be attending UCLA for collage.

The Why Him? star was the recipient of the Women in Film Max Mara Face of the Future Award at the celebration held at Chateau Marmont on Monday (June 12) in Los Angeles.
