Chloe X Halle are ready to debut their new, mature sound!

The singing sister duo recently spilled on what fans can expect from their upcoming album, Ungodly Hour.

“It’s more grown; it’s sexy, it’s darker,” Halle told Popsugar.

Chloe later added, “We’re not little kids anymore.”

They described their new sound as “edgier, grittier” R&B and played a role in the entire process – from melodies to lyrics and production.

Chloe continued, “I’ll make a beat and Halle will hear some really sick melodies and go on the mic and record them. I’ll lay some melodies down and splice [them] together, and then we do lyrics, but we never force it. It’s much like throwing paint on a wall and seeing what happens, and that’s the beauty of it.”

There are only a handful of days left until the new season of grown-ish is here and star Luka Sabbat is dishing about that love triangle between Zoey, Luca and Aaron.

“There’s drama, all right,” Luka shared in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, teasing the new season.

He adds, “I mean, there’s a lot going on besides my love triangle. It’s pretty comedic in the sense that [Luca] and Aaron are such different people. He’s this super-charismatic, outgoing, fun guy. I’m not going to say I’m a recluse, but I’m definitely keen to chill. And Zoey has different moods, and we each fit differently with different moods.”

On top of the love triangle, Luka also opened up about his friendship with Yara Shahidi.

“I hang out with Yara in real life, so I forget that we’re in a show together,” he says. “We have a lot of fun cognitive discourses, and we agree and disagree on a lot. We always share music because we have similar but different music tastes. We kick it.”

He continues, “The other day we had lunch at the Chateau and hung out, and I saw her at the Golden Globes after-party. It’s just funny: I could not see her for months, and then we see each other and pick up on the last time we talked.”

Trevor Jackson is dishing on the upcoming third season of grown-ish!

The 23-year-old actor and singer appeared on Good Morning America on Monday (December 23) to chat about the season.

“I could be a baby daddy, I could not be a baby daddy. It’s fun,” Trevor said. “I’m really excited. The cast is so talented, the writers are so amazing. I feel like we always hit the nail on the head on topics that are today, that are relevant. Especially for young kids who don’t really see themselves on TV. That’s why I love being a part of this show, it’s a great one.”

Trevor also talked about being a prankster on set and shared about one prank he did on Chloe x Halle.

“I’m always the guy, when I’m not on camera, trying to make the actors laugh,” he shared. “We’re there all day, somebody’s got to laugh… Chloe and Halle are vegans, and I remember one time, I tricked them. I told them that they had eaten meat, but it wasn’t, it was a vegan thing. I was like, ‘Oh you guys got the wrong one’. That’s the type of pranks I play.”

Zoey, Ana, Sky and Jazz walk in a school party like bosses in the brand new trailer for grown-ish.

In the new visual, we see Zoey (Yara Shahidi) arriving back to school after a summer off and she’s thrown right back into some relationship drama, being torn between Aaron (Trevor Jackson) and Luka (Luka Sabbat), who she broke up with at the end of last season.

Also, there’s that pregnancy tidbit too, which Zoey’s dad, Dre, is freaking out about.

grown-ish is set to return on January 16th, 2020 on Freeform.

The newest teaser for season three of Freeform’s grown-ish is causing quite a stir!

In the short promo, someone is sitting on the toilet taking a pregnancy test and yes, it’s positive.

Yara Shahidi shared the promo on her social media, writing, “Junior year is off to a ~positive~ start… Who’s ready for a new semester and a first trimester this season of #grownish?”

So, is it Yara‘s Zoey, Halle Bailey‘s Sky, or someone else on the show? We need to know now!

grown-ish is set to return on January 16th.

The premiere dates for Good Trouble, The Bold Type and grown-ish are out!

Freeform announced this afternoon when the three shows will be returning at the top of 2020.

Good Trouble will kick off the season on January 15th, with grown-ish on January 16th and The Bold Type on January 23rd.

The three shows will join new series Party of Five and Everything’s Gonna Be Okay on the network.

The grown-ish ladies blended together with stars from all three ish shows for one fun night together.

Also in attendance were grown-ish guys Trevor Jackson, Jordan Buhat, and Diggy Simmons, black-ish‘s Tracee Ellis Ross, Anthony Anderson, Marsai Martin, Miles Brown, Marcus Scribner, Laurence Fishburne, and Peter Mackenzie, and from the newest in the ish universe, the cast of mixed-ish, Arica Himmel, Ethan William Childress, Mykal-Michelle Harris, Tika Sumpter, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Gary Cole, and Christina Anthony.

At the event, the theme song for mixed-ish was unveiled, which is sung by Mariah. Check it out on Just Jared!

The series premiere of mixed-ish is NEXT Tuesday (September 24) at 9pm ET, followed by the season six premiere of black-ish at 9:30pm on ABC. grown-ish returns for season three in winter 2020.
