Hailee Steinfeld is heading to Las Vegas next month to receive the CinemaCon Female Star of Tomorrow Award!
The 16-year-old actress will be honored opposite Ender’s Game co-star Asa Butterfield at the event on Thursday, April 18th at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
Managing Director Mitch Neuhauser shared of Hailee, “Having already garnered an Oscar nomination, not to mention international acclaim for her big screen debut in True Grit, Hailee Steinfeld will continue to show audiences this coming year just how amazing a young actress she is with five new films set to hit theaters. Hailee Steinfeld is reportedly up for the lead role in the film adaptation of John Green‘s best-selling novel “The Fault in Our Stars”!
According to THR, the 16-year-old actress is in the running for the character of Hazel, a 16-year-old battling cancer who falls for a fellow cancer survivor after meeting at a support group.
“Big news is forthcoming in re The Fault in Our Stars movie,” Green recently tweeted. “THIS HAS BEEN A VERY EXCITING COUPLE OF DAYS.”
Production is set to begin this summer. Shailene Woodley is also reportedly up for the role.
