Hailee Steinfeld can do no wrong in our book and this video of her singing “Firework” by Katy Perry using just the first line of the song is so perfect!
The 19-year-old entertainer, who is promoting her new film The Edge of Seventeen, made an appearance on James Corden‘s The Late Late Show on Thursday (November 10).
Hailee decided to sing Katy Perry‘s “Firework” and she had to continuously sing the first line, “Do you ever feel like a plastic bag?” James sang Adele‘s song “Someone Like You” and then they joined forces for Madonna‘s “Like a Prayer.”

During the show, Hailee opened up about the unusual way she ended up signing her record deal.
“I went to a dinner in New York City…and the person that was to my mom’s right was a man named Charlie Walk and we had no idea who he was. We got to talking and within 20 minutes he had headphones in and he was listening to music that I had done on my own…and he signed me!” she explained of meeting the Republic Records president.
