Hailee Steinfeld steps out in a gorgeous purple ensemble for the Hawkeye special screening event held at AMC Lincoln Square Theater on Monday (November 22) in New York City.

The 24-year-old actress joined Jeremy Renner on the red carpet for the event, alongside series directors Katie Ellwood and Amber Templemore-Finlayson of Bert & Bertie.

In a recent interview, Jeremy and Hailee opened up about how they bonded from the first table read.

“We jumped right in,” Hailee told THR. “The exciting part of it all was discovering that personally as we were with our characters.”

She continued, “It’s not like we had a whole bunch of time to sit down and get to know each other before we did this thing, but I think it worked out perfectly in that sense. We were on the run, together, as were our characters, trying to figure out a whole bunch of stuff that’s going on.”

Jeremy added, “It’s problem-solving. There are a lot of examples, but it wasn’t like, ‘Oh my god, we’re acting together.’ It doesn’t work that way.”

“But when there was a problem or an issue, we found solutions instead of focusing on the problem. And that happened very, very early on,” he shared. “So it obviously continued, and it was great to have an ally to move through any obstacles because there’s going to be a ton when it comes to this kind of stuff.”

Hawkeye premieres this week, November 24, on Disney+.

Hailee‘s latest project is the upcoming Marvel series Hawkeye, which she stars in opposite Jeremy Renner and Vera Farmiga.

The series takes place post-blip New York City where former Avenger Clint Barton aka Hawkeye (Renner) has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. But when a threat from his past shows up, Hawkeye reluctantly teams up with Kate Bishop (Steinfeld), a 22-year-old skilled archer and his biggest fan, to unravel a criminal conspiracy.

Hailee, Jeremy and Vera were spotted together at the LA premiere of the show last week alongside co-stars Alaqua Cox, Fra Fee and more.

Hailee Steinfeld shows off her business style ahead of her radio interview with Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM show in New York City on Monday morning (November 22).

The 24-year-old actress got to chat with Andy about her role as Kate Bishop in Marvel’s Hawkeye, which debuts on Disney+ this week.

In another interview, Hailee opened up about how grateful she was to be joining the MCU.

“I feel it’s a great privilege, and I’m very excited to be amongst [Black Widow and Captain Marvel],” she shared with GamesRadar. “It’s an honor to be playing this incredibly determined and strong-willed and opinionated young woman. And I’m very excited for people to meet her and to see her in this show.”

Hailee added that Kate’s story is just beginning, too.

“I can tell you that [Kate's story is] beginning in this show, that I am so excited to be a part of, and I just am so excited to be playing a character that people have been so excited to see on the big screen for some time,” she added. “I feel very lucky.”

Hailee Steinfeld is opening up about getting to play Kate Bishop in Hawkeye.

The 24-year-old actress makes her Marvel debut as the character next week, one she wishes she had when growing up.

“It’s really a privilege to be able to play a character that could in any way possibly inspire anyone,” Hailee told Variety at the LA premiere.

She kicked off the month with the final season of her series Dickinson on Apple TV+, then premiered the first episodes of her new Netflix animated show Arcane.
