MOOOOM! Phineas and Ferb are making a TV show again!!

Yep, that’s right – Phineas and Ferb are coming back to our television screens, as the show has been picked back up by Disney Channel!

The exciting news comes out of Disney Branded Television’s TCA panel on Friday (January 13), with president Ayo Davis sharing the big news.

The network will see several shows returning with new episodes and new seasons, and they’ll also be welcoming quite a few brand new shows as well.

Disney Channel Unveils Halloween 2022 Programming - See the Schedule!

Disney Channel‘s Halloween programming is kicking off this weekend!

The network will begin it’s “Calling All the Monsters” and Disney Junior will start it’s “Trick or Treats” programming, starting on Sunday night (September 25).

Under Wraps 2 will be the official start on the Disney networks, with it’s world premiere that night at 8pm ET/PT on Disney Channel.

Throughout the next few weeks, we’ll get lots of Halloween-themed episodes of fan-favorite shows like Raven’s Home, BUNK’D: Learning the Ropes, The Villains of Valley View and new series Hamster & Gretel.

On Disney Junior, themed episodes of Mickey Mouse Funhouse, PJ Masks, Eureka!, Puppy Dog Pals and more will also roll out.

There will also be airings each week night on Disney Channel of such movies like Hotel Transylvania, Halloweentown, Tim Burton’s The Corpse Bride, and ZOMBIES 3 Alien Stories.

Who Stars in Disney Channel's 'Hamster & Gretel' - Meet the Voice Cast Here!

Hamster & Gretel is the latest animated series from Phineas & Ferb co-creator Dan Povenmire!

The new show airs weekly on Saturday mornings at 9:30am ET/PT on Disney Channel, and follows Kevin and younger sister Gretel, who are about to be bestowed super powers by space aliens. But something goes awry, and it’s Gretel and her pet hamster (named Hamster) who suddenly have new abilities. Now, protective older brother Kevin must figure out how to work with both Gretel and her pet Hamster to protect their city from mysterious dangers.

The music-filled series is actually based off of Dan‘s real life relationship with his younger sister.

If you have seen the first episodes (you can watch the first five on Disney+ now!), then you may recognize some of the voices on the show.

The 15-year-old Stranger Things actress guest stars as the voice of Gretel’s best friend Bailey in the new show.

Bailey is a high achiever but has a mischievous side. She is always up for an adventure as long as she can schedule her homework around it. She fancies herself the smartest 2nd grader and a bit of an amateur detective.

Michael Cimino Joins Liza Koshy, Alyson Stoner & More at 'Hamster & Gretel' Comic-Con Panel

Michael Cimino and Liza Koshy are all smiles while attending 2022 Comic-Con at Hilton Bayfront on Saturday (July 23) in San Diego, Calif.

The two co-stars were in attendance at a panel for their upcoming Disney Channel animated series Hamster & Gretel.

They were also joined by co-stars Alyson Stoner, Meli Povenmire, Carolina Ravassa, Joanna Hausmann and Duncan Trussell, as well as series creator Dan Povenmire.

This new show of course reunites Alyson and Dan, who previously worked together on the hit series Phineas and Ferb!

Hamster & Gretel is set to debut next month, and introduces Kevin (Cimino) and younger sister Gretel (Meli Povenmire), who are about to be bestowed super powers by space aliens. But something goes awry, and it’s Gretel and her pet hamster (named Hamster) who suddenly have new abilities. Carolina stars as Kevin and Gretel’s mom Carolina, Liza recurs as news reporter Veronica Hill, and Alyson voices Lauren aka The Destructress in a recurring role.

Disney Channel Unveils 'Hamster & Gretel' Trailer, Premiere Date & Additional Casting!

Disney Channel has revealed when their new animated series Hamster & Gretel will premiere!

The upcoming show comes from Phineas & Ferb co-creator Dan Povenmire, and is inspired by his real life relationship with his younger sister.

In addition to the premiere date, the network has also revealed the trailer, and additional casting, which includes some voice actors from past Disney projects and a Stranger Things star!
