In the most adorable surprise interview, Coldplay‘s Chris Martin poses as a fan and asks Harry Styles if he can run his fan club.

The phenomenal interview took place on the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show with host Nick Grimshaw.

Nick — aka “Grimmie” — surprised Harry with questions from a bunch of fellow British celebrities, including Chris, Ed Sheeran, Rita Ora, Ronnie Wood and even Harry’s mom Anne Twist.

Each artist submitted their interview to the show via a video. Grimmie told Harry that Chris was the first person to say yes and submit his video.

Harry is so impressed with Chris‘s willingness to do anything to run his fan club, he says he’d for sure sign him up.

The 23-year-old “Sign of the Times” singer also admitted the he’s played Ed a few of his songs, and Ed‘s response gave him a little panic moment.

One of the best things about Instagram is that when everyone first downloaded the app, no one knew how to use it — even our favorite stars who have mastered it by now, like Rowan Blanchard, Harry Styles and Insta queen Dove Cameron.

There were no filter apps. No crops. Picture collages were clumsy and blurred. No one had an aesthetic. No one had the art of the selfie quite mastered.

Thankfully, this includes your favorite celebs (at least, those who haven’t gone back and deleted their old posts.) For your viewing pleasure, we have rounded up eight of your favorite stars’ very first Instagram posts — nostalgic, sweet, and completely new to the app. You’re welcome.

Harry Styles has revealed that he used to live in an attic!

The singer slept in the attic of his friend Ben Winston – an Emmy-winning executive producer of The Late Late Show With James Corden who has also helped put together One Direction‘s music videos – and his wife Meredith in the early days of 1D.

Harry only meant to stay with the couple for a few weeks while he was buying a new house but ended up staying for around two years!

“Two weeks later and he hadn’t bought his house yet,” Ben told Rolling Stone. “It wasn’t going through. Then he said, ‘I’m going to stay until Christmas, if you don’t mind.’ Then Christmas came, and…”

“Those 20 months were when they went from being on a reality show, X Factor, to being the biggest-selling artists in the world,” Ben went on. “That period of time, he was living with us in the most mundane suburban situation. No one ever found out, really. Even when we went out for a meal, it’s such a sweet family neighborhood, no one dreamed it was actually him. But he made our house a home. And when he moved out, we were gutted.”

Harry Styles's 'Sign of the Times' is Really About a Mother Who Dies in Childbirth

Harry Styles's 'Sign of the Times' is Really About a Mother Who Dies in Childbirth

Harry Styles really opens up in his new cover interview with Rolling Stone magazine.

Not only did he talk a lot about his relationship with Taylor Swift and how he feels about Zayn Malik‘s comments about One Direction, he explains what his new single ‘Sign of the Times‘ and what it’s really about.

And it’s sad. So, so sad.

Some singers like to keep the meanings behind their songs a secret, so fans can bring their own meanings to the tune, but Harry dispels rumors that the song is about Taylor (sorry, shippers).

“The song is written from a point of view as if a mother was giving birth to a child and there’s a complication,” he tells Rolling Stone. “The mother is told, ‘The child is fine, but you’re not going to make it.’ The mother has five minutes to tell the child, ‘Go forth and conquer.’”

Harry Styles Is Talking All About Taylor Swift in This New Interview

Harry Styles is on the cover of the brand new issue of Rolling Stone magazine!

The 23-year-old entertainer spoke extensively about his new album and his past relationship with music superstar Taylor Swift. Here’s what he shared…

On Zayn Malik‘s recent comments on 1D: “I think it’s a shame he felt that way…but I never wish anything but luck to anyone doing what they love. If you’re not enjoying something and need to do something else, you absolutely should do that. I’m glad he’s doing what he likes, and good luck to him.”

On the infamous photos of his second date with Taylor Swift at Central Park: “When I see photos from that day,” he says, “I think: Relationships are hard, at any age. And adding in that you don’t really understand exactly how it works when you’re 18, trying to navigate all that stuff didn’t make it easier. I mean, you’re a little bit awkward to begin with. You’re on a date with someone you really like. It should be that simple, right? It was a learning experience for sure. But at the heart of it – I just wanted it to be a normal date.”

On if “Out of the Woods,” and “Style” are about him: “I mean, I don’t know if they’re about me or not…but the issue is, she’s so good, they’re bloody everywhere…I write from my experiences; everyone does that. I’m lucky if everything [we went through] helped create those songs. That’s what hits your heart. That’s the stuff that’s hardest to say, and it’s the stuff I talk least about. That’s the part that’s about the two people. I’m never going to tell anybody everything.”

On if he has a message for Taylor Swift today: “Maybe this is where you write down that I left!…I don’t know…Certain things don’t work out. There’s a lot of things that can be right, and it’s still wrong. In writing songs about stuff like that, I like tipping a hat to the time together. You’re celebrating the fact it was powerful and made you feel something, rather than ‘this didn’t work out, and that’s bad.’ And if you run into that person, maybe it’s awkward, maybe you have to get drunk … but you shared something. Meeting someone new, sharing those experiences, it’s the best sh*t ever. So thank you.”
