When the YouTube star’s show was canceled, there was one item that she really wanted to keep.
“When I found out Haters Back Off was ending I asked production if I could have Patrick’s bike. It arrived today. Happy tears,” she wrote on Instagram along with an image of her and Erik Stocklin, who played Patrick, sitting on the bike.
In case you missed it, watch Colleenclear the air surrounding the “drama” on the show being cancelled.
After the show was canceled, there was an issue with customer support, but the Miranda Sings creator assures that there is no bad blood with the streaming service.
“Before we start I just want to say I LOVE Netflix. They’re a great company to work with if you’re a creative person who would like to have a lot creative control on your project,” Colleen says in the video. “They’re very encouraging of creativity and originality and uniqueness. I loved working with them. So if you guys are comin’ on here hoping to get me to talk trash about Netflix, it’s not going to happen. Because that is my honest, genuine opinion of the company, and my experience working with them was lovely.”
Just before the weekend got here, Netflix decided to spoil it with the news that they had cancelled Haters Back Off.
Based on Colleen Ballinger‘s YouTube personality Miranda Sings, the show will not be returning for a third season on the streaming service. However, YouTube does have the option of bringing it to their platform.
Just following the news, Colleen shared a heartbreaking image on her Instagram that encompasses all our feelings.
“The fact that anything has happened from that, is just crazy,” Colleen told JJJ recently about Miranda and Haters Back Off. “It blows my mind.”
The brand new season is now on Netflix and you can watch Miranda Sings get into way more trouble than she can possibly handle.
“Miranda is going to be getting into crazier situations,” Colleen Ballinger told JJJ in a recent interview about the new season. “This season is so insane and she gets in a lot of trouble (laughs).”
She adds that, “for this season, we really tried to focus on the relationship between the characters and you get to see a lot of heart; and get to know all the characters even better.”
“I think it’s absolutely hysterical, so I’m hoping everyone laughs a lot while they’re watching it and gets to know these weird characters a lot better.
Colleen also opened up about being one of the lucky ones who got a second season on Netflix.
“There are days that I still can’t believe it,” she says. “I still have to pinch myself to realize that any of this has happened for Miranda. She was a crazy little girl character that I created almost 10 years ago and I never thought anything would happen from it.”
“This was just an inside joke with my friends and the fact that we’re going on a world tour again, I have a book and Netflix show, it’s insane,” Colleen adds. “I feel so, so lucky. I do feel like the luckiest girl in the world because this doesn’t happen to just anyone and I don’t know why it’s happening to me (laughs), but I feel very, very lucky.”
