Hayes Grier is showing the extent of his injuries from his dirt bike accident in this new shirtless selfie posted to Twitter.
The 16-year-old former DWTS contestant’s rep released a statement over the weekend confirming his accident and hospital stay.
“ready to be back,” Hayes captioned the photo on his Twitter account.
Over the weekend, Hayes shared a photo from his hospital bed as well to let his fans know that he was doing okay.
“hey guys, we’re good,” he captioned that picture on Instagram.

Hayes Grier‘s rep is speaking out to correct reports that the social star was injured in a car accident.
The 16-year-old former Dancing With the Stars contestant was actually hospitalized after sustaining injuries in a dirt bike accident.
“Earlier today, Hayes Grier was involved in a dirt bike accident and immediately transported to a local hospital,” the rep said in a statement. “Hayes suffered a concussion, broken rib, bruised lung, and multiple skin lacerations. Thankfully, he is OK and currently resting and recovering in the hospital surrounded by his family, where he will remain for the next few days. We can’t thank you all enough for the outpouring of prayers and support for Hayes!”
Hayes‘ older brother, Vine star Nash Grier, released a statement earlier in the day asking fans to pray for his younger bro.

“I can confirm that Hayes was involved in an accident and has been transported to a local hospital,” the 16-year-old’s rep tells us. “He is under great care. Thank you for your prayers and support.”
Hayes‘ older brother Nash alerted fans with a tweet about his brother’s accident earlier today.
#PrayForHayes. Just got a call on set that said Hayes was in a crash. He’s now in the hospital,” he wrote. “He can move & talk (thank god) but he’s coughed up a lot of blood. That’s all I know. Praying he has a quick recovery.”
A congrats is in order for Hayes Grier!
The 16-year-old social media star just scored his very own television show, titled Top Grier.

Hayes is teaming up with Verizon Hearst Media to launch the unscripted comedy series documenting him renovating his family farm in his hometown of Mooresville, NC.
Top Grier will also feature his mom, Elizabeth, his younger sister Skylynn, brothers, Nash and Will, his beloved dog Zan, and some of his friends.

Bindi opened up about the event with USA Today ahead of the dinner, saying that her father “didn’t care if people remembered him. He always wanted people to remember his message and legacy. Dad was able to bring respect and love for all creatures into people’s living rooms. We want to make sure all his Wildlife Warriors work carries on.”

Hayes Grier isn’t happy he isn’t going on the Latin American leg of DigiTour.
The event, which connects social stars to fans across the world, announced earlier this week that Nash Grier, Rudy Mancuso, DJ Rupp, Alec Bailey and Tez would be on the tour, but Hayes would not.
“As much as we love Hayes Grier, and for reasons beyond our control, and Hayes, he is not coming on the tour,” the tour explained in a tweet.
Hayes was quick to express his disappointment as well: “So let’s all say thank you to @DigiTour for ruining the experience for me and my brother to go meet you guys in South America…Can’t believe this.”
He added, “Not gonna let lame old people stop me from meeting you guys.”

Later on, Tahj was spotted at a late night party with Jenna Ushkowitz and AnnaLynne McCord.
