Matt Barr makes sure on-screen girlfriend Ashley Tisdale is under the shelter of the umbrella as they film a new scene for their CW series, Hellcats, in Vancouver on Thursday afternoon (October 14.)
Costars Heather Hemmens and Aly Michalka were also spotted on set. Aly also snuck away for a quick moment to shop at a local store for a new MacBook cover.
Ashley has been feeling a bit under the weather lately. She tweeted, “I’ve got a cold :( and my throat feels like crap. Have a pretty easy day at work tho! Like @heatherhemmens I ♥ Hellcats!” Be sure to send her well wishes!

It was just announced that Debbie Allen, of Fame fame and superstar choreographer, is set to direct an episode of the hit CW series. Creator Kevin Murphy dished to EOnline, “Debbie Allen is the platinum standard when it comes to combining dance, drama and an energetic young cast. Best of all, we’ve arranged a special clause in her deal�”we’re paying her in sweat.”

Meanwhile, Marti (Aly Michalka) pretends to be sick so she can skip the game and attend a conference with Julian (Gale Harold). Alice (Hemmens) wants to cheat to win but Savannah (Tisdale) refuses, putting the girls at odds once again.

Hellcats‘ resident mean girl Heather Hemmens was spotted on the red carpet at the 2010 Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party held at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles on Friday night (October 1).
In this week’s episode “The Prisoner’s Song,” Savannah (Ashley Tisdale) talks the team into letting Dan (Matt Barr) direct their bid video against Alice’s (Hemmens) wishes, but when things don’t go as planned, Savannah may have to forfeit her role as captain.
Meanwhile, Marti (Michalka) decides to investigate further into Julian’s (Gale Harold) case, and Red (Jeff Hephner) tells Derrick (D.B. Woodside) he plans to win Vanessa (Sharon Leal) back, which prompts a fight between the two men.

In the upcoming episode “Nobody Loves Me But My Mother,” Lewis (Robbie Jones) asks Marti (Michalka) out but she turns him down. Alice (Heather Hemmens) tells Lewis she will stop taking drugs if he helps her get back in shape as a flyer, but then after a sweaty workout the two end up taking it further.
Meanwhile, Savannah (Ashley Tisdale) takes Dan (Matt Barr) to her parents’ house for dinner and a fight erupts after Savannah’s mom (Teryl Rothery) demands that she stop seeing Dan.
