The first teaser for the upcoming After We Fell has arrived!
Voltage Pictures dropped the mini trailer in celebration of Valentine’s Day this past weekend, and it was full of steamy moments between Hardin (Hero Fiennes Tiffin) and Tessa (Josephine Langford).
The clip also gave fans a first look at new character Robert, played by Carter Jenkins.
Here’s a synopsis: Just as Tessa makes the biggest decision of her life, everything changes. Revelations about her family, and then Hardin’s, throw everything they knew before in doubt and makes their hard-won future together more difficult to claim.
The 23-year-old actor and model shared that the popularity was a lot to handle at first.
“It was initially overwhelming,” he toldFlauntmagazine. “But now at this point I’m obviously able to enjoy the good things and not dwell too much on the changes. I didn’t plan for this, I just wanted to stay busy and do loads of auditions and do things on the side. Now a few years later, I’ve kind of settled from a sudden change in a sudden period of time to now a long couple years of adjustments.”
Hero also opened up to the mag about his character in the After franchise, Hardin, and the changes he goes through.
“The interesting thing about Hardin is that he changes so much depending on how Tessa (Josephine Langford) changes,” he shares. “Once he deals with his childhood trauma, you hope that he will be able to become his best self.”
“I think the whole journey with After as well is watching how he becomes the best version of himself alongside Tessa,” Hero added. “He goes from being a version of himself who is far from who he wants to be to transforming to be who he wants to be.”
“Thank you guys SO much. It’s thanks to you that we were able to do this, so we hope you love the movie. It’s been an absolute pleasure,” Hero says. “Thank you to everyone behind the camera who you can’t see, let’s have a round of applause for them. Thank you. It’s not just us, it’s everyone else who made this possible.”
“Such a pleasure, honestly,” he added with a hug to Josephine. “We hope you enjoy After three and four, and that’s a wrap!”
The upcoming two movies in the franchise will star quite a few new faces, as some cast members were replaced with different actors in order to film them when they did.
If you missed it, Hero, Josephine and After We Collided are all nominated for multiple 2020 Just Jared Jr Fan Awards, as well as their new co-star Chance Perdomo. The categories they are nominated in include Favorite Actor, Favorite Actress, Favorite Drama Movie and Favorite Movie Cast. Be sure to vote for them in all of their categories!
Here’s a synopsis: Hardin will always be… Hardin. But is he really the deep, thoughtful guy Tessa fell madly in love with— or has he been a stranger all along? She wishes she could walk away. It’s just not that easy. Not with the memory of the passionate nights they spent together.
Still, Tessa’s not sure she can endure one more broken promise. She’s focused on her studies and just starting an exciting new internship at Vance Publishing. She’s also being pursued by Trevor, a handsome new co-worker who is exactly the kind of guy she should be with.
Hardin knows he made a mistake, possibly the biggest one of his life. He wants to right his wrongs and overcome his demons. He’s not going to lose Tessa without a fight. But can he change? Will he change… for love? AFTER WE COLLIDED… Life will never be the same.
After We Collided will land on Netflix on December 22nd.
The now 23-year-old After franchise actor uploaded a cute photo on Instagram story, over a week after his birthday.
“Sorry been mad busy filming but just wanted to say how much I appreciate all the bday love last week,” he wrote with the pic, along with a heart and a rocket emoji.
In the photo, which was from his big day, on November 6th, sees Hero in the back of a car with a bunch of balloons. Check it out in the gallery!
Hero and his co-stars have been filming the next two movies in the After franchise, After We Fell and After Ever After in Europe.
In early October, there were quite a few casting changes for the upcoming films, which they are filming back to back.
It’s here! After We Collided is OUT NOW in the US and many other parts of the world!
Hero Fiennes-Tiffin recently opened up about the main characters’ toxic relationship and people criticizing it.
“People criticize it for advocating, like, a toxic relationship, and we need to stress that this is entertainment,” Hero told EW. “It’s not a rulebook for people to follow and take into their lives. But I think it is super entertaining to watch people try and get through that because Hardin and Tessa don’t want it to be toxic, they’re trying to fight through it, and it is for whatever reason.”
“A lot of the time, other scripts may have shied away from that because of the scrutiny that you may get for people saying you’re promoting a toxic relationship,” he added. “It’s the realness behind the fact that this is the case sometimes, unfortunately, and hopefully you can make it work and if it’s not good, it shouldn’t be. It’s super complex topic but that’s what is so interesting about it.”
“Ultimately you want to find out if they can make it work and if they do, how they do, and if they don’t, why it didn’t work,” Hero shared.
