Hunter Hayes has officially premiered the conclusion his mini-movie, Pictures, with a little premiere in Nashville, Tenn., on Wednesday night (February 14).
The 26-year-old country musician spoke with local news about the final music video, “This Girl”, which holds a surprise at the end for his fans.
“I believe in albums, there will an album this year,” Hunter promises. “But I wanted to release other music and connect it all together.”
With the project, Hunter hopes fans will be open to sharing their stories with him.
“I wanted to break the ice,” he adds. “It’s opening the doors and having really cool conversations. There is some of that coming, but this [Pictures] is the prelude to the bigger picture.”
Hunter Hayes has dropped the third song included in his Pictures mini-movie, called “This Girl”.
The new track joins “More” and “You Should Be Loved“, and the mini-movie will actually make its debut at Regal Cinemas in Nashville on Valentine’s Day.
“‘This Girl’ was such a fun song to write,” Hunter sheard about the song. “Musically, going back to the roots of stuff I grew up listening to, and lyrically highlighting that side of someone that you only get to see when you’ve known each other for a while and how special those moments can be.”
He adds, “I’m also extremely excited for everyone to see how ‘Pictures’ finishes with this music video!”

“Pictures is a totally new experience for me,” he told Forbes. “We’ve never done anything like this and I love how it takes you out of current reality and transports you to a different time and place entirely, where each song tells a piece of the story.”

Hunter Hayes has delivered a mini-movie for his brand new song “You Should Be Loved” that should actually be made into a full-length movie.
Speaking recently, the country musician opened up about his concept for the video, saying, “We decided to tie all this stuff together in this really, cool, beautiful story, that I’m really excited about that actually takes place in the ’50s.”
“I super love [that era], because it personally takes me out of current reality and transports me with these songs.”
Hunter adds about the full concept: “I wanted to do something visual that tied everything together, so that the fans know that it’s all part of one big picture.”
“Even though we’re doing one song at a time it is all part of a big long story, and this is just a part of the story.”
