Hunter Hayes steps out for the 2017 Samsung Charity Gala held at Skylight Clarkson Sq in New York City on Thursday night (November 2).
The “Rescue” singer recently appeared on Pickler & Ben to chat up his upcoming music and philanthropic causes, where he opened up about how his fans, family and friends recently got him through a dark time.
“Putting your life out there for the world to see, whether it’s in a song or on Facebook, you subject yourself to a lot,” he explains. “There’s good and there’s bad.”
Hunter adds, “I was going through a dark time and struggling how to deal with it. I am so blessed because I had no energy or fire of my own and I lost a lot of it for a second.”
“I was surrounded by a lot of people who lifted me up. It was [girlfriend] Libby [Barnes], it was my parents, it was even my fans.”
We were completely carried away with Hunter Hayes‘ brand new song “You Should Be Loved”.
The country star dropped the new track today, which is a collaboration with The Shadowboxers.
“Country is my home, so I’m happy to have you guys on a track with steel guitar. That makes me smile,” Hunter revealed in a recent Facebook Live chat with the group.
He also touched on dropped more new music supers oon.
“When we released ‘Rescue,’ I talked about how I want to put out more music more frequently…this has been in the works for so long it feels so good to finally get it out.”

The ACM Honors ceremony celebrates special honorees and category winners whose awards presentations didn’t make the ACM Awards broadcast, which aired back in April.

Hunter Hayes just dropped a surprise new video and it’s probably our favorite of his yet!
The song and video for “Rescue” that ties into his new pair of shoes which he designed with Zappos, that gives directly back to Zappos For Good.
“I’ve always loved what music and charity organizations can do together, and I think the tie in with this song is undeniable,” Hunter shared in a statement. “We’ve had the opportunity to work with so many awesome charities over the years and I realized that, to me, they are exactly that: rescues.”
He adds, “They are places of refuge for so many people who need a friend to help them through something or to be there for them. We’ve seen the power of music in so many ways and I wanted ‘Rescue’ to be a song that we used for good.”
The shoes will be available starting December 2017 exclusively on Zappos.com. All shoes will be accompanied by a digital download code for “Rescue” and a personalized lyric sheet from Hunter.
All profits from “The Rescue Collection” will be donated to Zappos for Good, the charity team at Zappos.com and the limited edition shoes will benefit a number of charitable initiatives including the CMA Foundation, and Zappos’ annual Pawlidayz pet adoption drive.
