In the episode “iMeet the First Lady,” Carly (Miranda Cosgrove) and Spencer (Jerry Trainor) are excited that their dad is returning from active duty in time to celebrate his birthday and they begin planning a party to commemorate the occasion.
Unfortunately, Colonel Shay is deployed again and must cancel his trip home. Carly is devastated when she learns that she won’t be able to spend her dad’s birthday with him. To cheer Carly up, the gang surprises her during their next iCarly webcast by transmitting a live feed to Colonel Shay.
Having seen the webcast, Mrs. Obama is moved by what Sam (Jennette McCurdy), Freddie (Nathan Kress), and Gibby (Noah Munck) did for Carly and commends Carly for being such a strong and supportive daughter to a father in the service.
Leading up to the premiere NEXT Monday, January 16th, there will be special screenings of the episode around the nation especially for military families. Check out the times and places inside!

Nathan Kress gets creative with the camera in this new promo for the upcoming episode of iCarly.
In “iBalls,” Freddie (Kress) decides he wants to be a creative member of the iCarly team which includes him wanting to perform on the show. He gets in front of the camera with Sam (Jennette McCurdy), while handing over the camera to Gibby (Noah Munck). (JJJ Note: Already, this doesn’t sound like a good idea).
While Freddie incorporates the webshow with 3D effects and messes up people’s vision, Spencer (Jerry Trainor) hires a personal assistant named Marty.

JJJ was on the set during filming and found out that the cast was freaked out by all the mannequins.
“You think that they’re real and they’re just keeping really still,” Jennette McCurdy told us. “It’s freaky!”
