Isabelle Fuhrman waits for her ride after doing a bit of retail therapy on Robertson Boulevard on Wednesday afternoon (July 18) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Over the weekend at the 2012 San Diego Comic Con, an official summary was revealed for the 15-year-old actress’ new movie, After Earth.

“In After Earth, one thousand years after cataclysmic events forced humanity’s escape from Earth, Nova Prime has become mankind’s new home. Legendary General Cypher Raige (Will Smith) returns from an extended tour of duty to his estranged family, ready to be a father to his 13-year-old son, Kitai (Jaden Smith).

“When an asteroid storm damages Cypher and Kitai’s craft, they crash-land on a now unfamiliar and dangerous Earth. As his father lies dying in the cockpit, Kitai must trek across the hostile terrain to recover their rescue beacon. His whole life, Kitai has wanted nothing more than to be a soldier like his father. Today, he gets his chance.”

“In my mind, Clove was never an assassin,” Isabelle shared about her Hunger Games character. “I imagined her as having a very tragic life with specific moments that drove her to become, for lack of a better word, crazy.”

Isabelle Fuhrman will be enrolling in the world of ballet soon.

Variety reports that the 15-year-old actress will star as Suzy in the upcoming remake of Suspiria.

The film is about Suzy, a new student at a world-renowned ballet academy, only to learn that the academy is a front for a coven of witches.

Originally debuting in 1977, the re-telling will premiere in 2013 and is directed by David Gordon Green.

Isabelle just recently wrapped filming on M. Night Shyamalan‘s After Earth opposite Will and Jaden Smith.

In a recent interview with the NY Times, Isabelle dished on her idols of the moment.

“I’m kind of obsessed with Marilyn Monroe right now. I just saw the movie with Michelle Williams; she was incredible in it! Now I am so curious about Marilyn and her life. I want to check out all of her movies. She was sexy but still had a sort of innocence about her,” Isabelle shared. “Audrey Hepburn and Natalie Wood were also beautiful, classy and confident.”

Isabelle Fuhrman is a lacy lady as she attends the Valentino Rodeo Drive Flagship Opening on Tuesday night (March 27) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 15-year-old Hunger Games star, in Valentino and Blue Nile jewels, met up inside with 90210 star Jessica Stroup and Pretty Little Liars‘ Keegan Allen.

“I love the hunger games. She loves pretty little liars. Everyone follow @isabellefuhrman,” Keegan posted on his Twitter along with a sweet pic of the two.

On finding out she booked Clove: “When I got the call from my agent I cried. I was at a restaurant and everyone in the restaurant is looking at this 14 year-old girl crying at a table. I never thought that people could cry of happiness. The second time it happened was at the Elle Women Hollywood event last year. I got in the car after the event with my dad, and started crying like, I met so many awesome people. It’s just that overpowering feeling.”

On going after dark roles: “I don’t know why I get all these scary characters; maybe I give up that creeper vibe. There are so many different things that have to lead up to why a person is bad, and it just interests and fascinates me.”

On becoming Clove: “My character is so fierce and kind of sarcastic—this game, it’s fun for her. I had to learn how to be a badass. It was a lot of martial arts training and conditioning. For one scene we trained for a week for 8 hours a day because there was so much going on in it. I really wanted to learn how to throw the knives properly, and how to fight with them. That way I could bring her to life as I would want to see her – as if I was just watching the movie. I had to lean out, and get muscle definition.”
