Stars Rose McIver and Rahul Kohli shared a big note with fans, not only hoping that they’ll all enjoy the new season, but also watch live with them.

“If there was ever a time to watch this show, it’s now,” Rahul writes. “I know a lot of you have found iZombie through Netflix and other streaming services, but for those of you who have access to the CW, your live viewership will really count.”

He continues that all of the cast will be live tweeting all season long, and you don’t want to miss that.

“Amen Raz. We appreciate your support so much guys,” Rose adds. “Really really excited to watch season 4 with you all. And hopefully season 5…6….7…8….”

CW Sets 'iZombie' Season 4 For Late February

iZombie is coming back way sooner than we expected and it’s just about the best news we’ve heard all weekend long!

The series, which stars Rose McIver, Malcolm Goodwin, Rahul Kohli, Robert Buckley, David Anders, and Aly Michalka, will be back on air to kick off its’ season four on Monday, February 26th @ 9PM.

The fan-favorite series will be following DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, which is sharing the 8PM time slot with Supergirl for the remainder of the season.

For season four, showrunner Rob Thomas told ComicBook.com that it’s set “three months later, and the United States has walled off Seattle like it’s West Berlin.”

“Chase is hanging on by a very thin thread; it’s like every day is the Cuban missile crisis. Brains are coming in, but they aren’t getting as many as they expected, and zombies are hungry,” he adds.

Rob even shared that the opening sequence will be changing a little: “In fact, the opening sequence in season four is going to follow a brain from the moment a man dies somewhere in Texas to the moment it reaches the brain tube and is ingested by a Seattle zombie.”

“In fact, it’s even going to start earlier than that. We’re going to see a commercial on TV; we want to get someone like Laura Linney making a commercial pleading for the people of the United States to sign their brain donor card.”

Izabela Vidovic Has Joined 'iZombie's Upcoming Season 4!

Izabela Vidovic Has Joined 'iZombie's Upcoming Season 4!

Izabela Vidovic is hopping over to iZombie for the upcoming fourth season.

The actress spoke about her “tricky” role in a new interview while discussing her new movie, Wonder.

“I will be on iZombie,” Izabela shared. “They are introducing me as a new character so I’m very much looking forward to that and I’m currently filming that in Vancouver.”

She adds that her character is also named Isobel, although spelled differently.

“I unfortunately can’t really reveal too much because it’s going to ruin the whole storyline,” she laughed.

However, Izabela did say that “it’s a tricky character, however I’m very excited to be a part of it. I did work with the creator, Rob Thomas, on a pilot a few years ago so this is fun to be working again with him and Dan Etheridge as well.”

iZombie is expected to return this coming spring on The CW.

'iZombie' Is Permanently A Midseason Show For the CW; Here's What That Actually Means

'iZombie' Is Permanently A Midseason Show For the CW; Here's What That Actually Means

During the TCA Tour yesterday in Los Angeles, CW president Mark Pedowitz opened up about the future of iZombie and if we’ll be seeing another season past season 4, which they’re working on right now.

His answer? It’s firmly a midseason drama, which means that the show will probably always live on the bubble and fans will be biting their nails and launching multiple campaigns to get it renewed for the foreseeable future.

That being said though, there haven’t been any convos about season 4 being the last of iZombie either.

“If and when we get there, we’ll sit down with [co-creator] Rob Thomas and we’ll figure it out,” he promised. “At this moment in time, I’m not planning on having that series end.”

We’ll take it, but we’re still planning those campaigns to renew it too.
