Jackson Harris steps out for the premiere of Mavis! held at Florence Gould Hall on Wednesday night (February 24) in New York City.
The 23-year-old singer recently spoke with TeenVogue about what he hopes to accomplish this coming year.
“I want to be able to wake up, do what I love, and hopefully be respected for it. We’re working on releasing my album, Sharks and Vampires. I love the name—I imagined, if I was a Brooklyn hipster and I didn’t listen to mainstream music, what would I be drawn to?” he shared.
Jackson added, “I’m figuring out a tour—it’s all up to the fans and how much hard work I put in. I definitely think I’ve made my mom crazy, but proud, and that was the end goal.”
“NEW VIDEO….Cover of @justinbieber’s ‘Love Yourself’ from his new album #Purpose :) Share it and enjoy!!!” Jacksontweeted, later adding, “You know you’ve made it when you have your own hashtag that create a cool personalized emoji… ;)”

“Sharks and Vampires is my most honest collection of songs I’ve ever released. Each one is written from my own personal experiences. I hope the listeners can connect with some of the messages and stories that the songs illustrate. But, most of all I can’t wait to perform these songs all over the country!” the 24-year-old singer shared to JJJ.
The EP is comprised of eight perfect pop songs and is set to drop on Tuesday (February 11).
In case you didn’t know, Jackson will be the opening act for Cher Lloyd and Fifth Harmony on their tours, starting Thursday, February 27. We can’t wait!
