On being part of the Hunger Games: “It’s been amazing. I got to work with one of the most talented directors out there, Gary Ross, who really just helped me get into the mind set of my character. The cast and crew was so unbelievably supportive, I mean I was still kind of nervous with this being my first movie set but everyone just kind of put me at ease.”

On being referred to as Fox-face: “It’s happened to me a couple of times and I’m always like, oh wait, that’s me sorry!”

On her passion for music: “Hopefully an album will be on the way. I’ll have to let you know.”

On her first song “Peter Pan”: “I’m at a stage now where I want to try a bunch of different sounds and find the one that I think fits me best.”

Jacqueline Emerson keeps close to Dayo Okeniyi as they attend the NYLON Magazine 13th Annivesary Celebration held at Smashbox Studios on Tuesday night (April 10) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 17-year-old actress, in Cynthia Rowley and a BLUES by kyky clutch, was just announced as the special guest at this year’s Women To Watch Awards in Washington, D.C.

The Women to Watch Awards, held each spring in Washington, DC, celebrates Running Start’s efforts to inspire young women to run for public office.

The annual event honors some of the most impressive young women in the country, including some of the youngest women in Congress and other young women leaders who represent the best of their respective professions.

“I am so excited to be a special guest at this year’s Women to Watch awards in May! #WTW2012 @runningstartDC” Jackie tweeted.

Amandla Stenberg, Jacqueline Emerson and Willow Shields arrives with smiles on their faces at the 2012 Kids Choice Awards held at the USC Galen Center in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon (March 31).

Jackie, 17, tweeted, “Had a blast tonight at the #KCAs! I even got slimed! Ahhh…Head in the sink with @marmaladeschuy trying ti wash slime out of my hair haha I feel honored to have been hit! Lol”

Jacqueline Emerson gets gussied up for a new feature with Zooey magazine.

The 17-year-old actress opened up to the glossy about movies, music and education. Check it:

On getting into Stanford University: “I’m definitely going to go. I’m either going to go next year or the year after, just because everything is kind of taking off right now so I’m thinking about deferring. But, I’m very excited because that was my first choice. I went in for Early Action, and I got in. So, I had to email all the other colleges and was like, ‘Sorry!’ Education is very important to me, it is a top priority. No matter what, I’m definitely going to go to Stanford. It might take me a lot longer to finish school than it does other people, but I’m still going to go.”

On her own bucket list: “I would LOVE to work with [Martin] Scorsese, at any point in my life. I just love his work so much. Other than that, everything is pretty much just acting and singing related. I want to perform on the Staples Center stage. The only concerts I’ve ever been to, have been there. It’s always been that pinnacle for me. Also, I have to be on the Ellen Show. That is definitely on my bucket list. I love her show, it’s my favorite.”

On falling for music and acting: “It was literally exactly the same time for both. Because the first thing I ever did in either of them was the musical Annie, when I was six years old. That’s when I fell in love with both singing and acting. After that I started going to musical theater acting camp over the summer. I really just fully immersed myself in it.”

Isabelle Fuhrman picks up a tall cup of coffee from Starbucks while out and about in Philadelphia, Penn., on Wednesday morning (March 14).

The 15-year-old actress, who rocked the red carpet at The Hunger Games premiere tweeted, “So sleepy! What an amazing and crazy night! I’m off to bed #afterearth tomorrow :)”

Co-star Jacqueline Emerson was also seen out in Los Angeles picking up something cool to drink from her local Starbucks.

“I had such an amazing time at the premiere last night! The movie was amazing and I can’t wait for you all to see it :),” she wrote on her Facebook page.

Jacqueline Emerson goes glam in a green Reem Acra dress at the premiere of The Hunger Games held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Monday evening (March 12) in Los Angeles.

The 17-year-old actress wrote on her Tumblr page, “This journey has been crazy. I’ve experienced things I only dreamed of experiencing. I’ve gotten to meet people I never would have met. I’ve learned and learned each day.”

Jackie added, “Tomorrow night is the premiere, but the journey isn’t ending, its just going down a new path. And I can’t wait for this branch to begin :) Thank you all for your kindness and support—I love you all <3″

Jennifer, 21, completed the flick’s mall tour with costars Josh Hutcherson, Alexander Ludwig, Jacqueline Emerson, Amandla Stenberg and Isabelle Fuhrman, at the Mall of America on Friday evening (March 9) in Bloomington, Minn.
