The two Fantastic Four actors joined their co-stars Kate Mara and Jamie Bell to promote their upcoming movie.
“Once I was cast, my dad revealed that, when he was my age, Fantastic Four was his favourite comic book. So I was like, ‘Well that’s gotta be kind of tricky, man. That now, at age 60, your son is playing this character that you grew up with,’” Miles dished during a recent interview.
Miles added about the flick, “I think I speak for all us that I was very excited by the cast. Hopefully, we’ll be making these films for many years. I think the casting of it was, yes, by far one of the most interesting parts about it. I don’t think people saw us individually as these characters at all. But they wanted to cast actors that maybe had a footing in dramatic acting, and I think that’s served us well for the story.”
FYI: Miles is wearing Levi’s Made & Crafted jeans and The Frye Company boots.
Michael B. Jordan is all smiles while stopping by the Univision Studios for a talk show appearance on Friday (July 31) in Miami, Fla.
The 28-year-old actor was joined for the appearance by his Fantastic Four co-stars Kate Mara and Jamie Bell.
Earlier in the week, Michael and Kate did an interview for a radio station and were asked about their characters Johnny Storm and Sue Storm being siblings. “From what I’ve seen, you’re brother and sister. Am I missing something?” an interviewer asked them.
When they said “no,” the reporter said, “But you’re white and you’re black. How does that happen?”
Michael gave a perfect response (via Buzzfeed): “They could be raised as brother and sister. There’s a whole bunch of family dynamics that could be without the ‘obvious adoption.’”

The two Fantastic Four actors joined co-star Jamie Bell to promote their upcoming film, and also took a few pics with Sesame Street’s Elmo and Rosita.

On whether we’ll see his character The Thing’s face: “There is potential. There’s stuff in the comic books where Miles Teller‘s character, Reed Richards, develops technology where he can be changed back. My question, to filmmakers and to audiences around the world, is would they want that? It’s unlikely. But it’s possible.”
On watching himself on screen: I don’t really enjoy watching any of my work at all. It’s useful, because you get to see what mistakes you think you made and what choices didn’t quite work out the way you wanted them to. But at the same time, it’s such an excruciating experience because it’s final. You can’t do anything about it. So the process of rewatching it becomes so pointless. To get me to sit down in a screening, you almost have to nail me to the f-cking floor.
On choosing parts: “I think I have much more appreciation for directing and movies overall versus a performance or an actor. Their body of work is more interesting. It’s hard to define somebody by one movie. I mean, unfortunately, my entire life was basically made by Billy Elliot. It was kind of created by that one catalytic moment.”
During the chat held at 2015 Comic-Con, Miles revealed he didn’t think playing a superhero would be in his future.
Miles explained, “I kind of joked around a couple years ago saying I’ll do a superhero movie at some point and then Spider-Man came and went and I thought that was it.”
