Who knew that Mona and Alison were really good friends in real life?!

Janel Parrish is opening up about just how close she and Sasha Pieterse are in a new interview.

“Sasha and I have always been so close,” Janel shared with POPSUGAR. “When we had scenes together in PLL, we were always fighting. So [in The Perfectionists], it was really fun to explore what a friendship looks like between Mona and Alison. It came pretty easily to us because we are really close in real life.”

She adds, “It was so fun to come to work every day and be partners in this thing together.”

Janel, like us all, is eager to hear if Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists will be back for a second season.

One thing she wants to see, on top of Mona and Mason, is who exactly The Professor is! Us too, Janel!

There was a Bratz reunion this week!

Janel Parrish, Logan Browning and Nathalia Ramos all got together at Janel‘s house for a girls day. All that was missing was Skyler Shaye.

“Summer days with these Bratz babes 💕,” captioned a post on Instagram.

The ladies spent time in the pool, and even watched one of Logan‘s latest movies, The Perfection. They couldn’t figure out how to get the jacuzzi going, so they settled for the bathtub.

They also celebrated Logan and Nathalia‘s belated birthdays. Logan‘s birthday was on June 9th and Nathalia‘s was July 3rd.

Sydney Park is fangirling for Janel Parrish!

The 21-year-old Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists actress showed her support for her 30-year-old co-star’s new theater show, The Last Five Years, in an Instagram post Sunday (June 30).

“What an incredible show last night @janelparrish and @skittishkid!!” Sydney wrote. “Thanks for having us. 🥰❤️ I love you, J. #TheLastFiveYears”

The Last Five Years is a musical being performed at The Actors Company in Los Angeles, Calif. The show’s producers describe The Last Five Years as an “extraordinary multisensory experience.”

Janel stars in the show alongside 39-year-old Friday Night Lights actor Scott Porter.

The Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists actress plays Estelle, who reconnects with her best friend after a long time apart.

Here’s a synopsis: Two couples, each working through relationship issues, rent a gorgeous house in the desert for an escape from reality. Sarah (Angela Trimbur) and Estelle (Parrish) are longtime best friends looking forward to reconnecting after a period apart; their boyfriends, Joseph (Zach Avery) and Victor (Jonathan Howard), however, are immediately wary of one another.

As tensions escalate over the course of a debaucherous night, things take an unexpected turn when a woman (Fairuza Balk) claiming to be a neighbor with car trouble shows up at the door. She seems harmless enough…or so they think. As the twists and turns pile up so does the body count in this stylish, blood- and neon-soaked thriller which hits with the furious force of a machete to the skull.

Trespassers comes out in theaters and VOD on July 12th!

The Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists actress opened up in her feature about saying hello again to Mona VanderWaal.

“I love playing her. I know her. And, even with knowing her as well as I do, the writers keep surprising me and giving me more layers to play with. It’s a dream job,” Janel shared.

She also opened up about her favorite lines (“‘Déjà vu, b***” season 7, Mona finds herself alone with Spencer and hits her unconscious AGAIN. It happened in season 2, and just Mona saying it is
so snarky, considering she knows she’s about to hit her again), and her trendy style.

“She’s way trendier than I am,” Janel says. “But, I always end up buying her shoes. She always has epic boots.”

That’s a wrap for Margot!

Janel Parrish shared a photo of her chair from the sequel To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, and said she’s done with filming.

“Thats a wrap for me on #toalltheboysivelovedbefore2. Love you forever, Margot 🍭,” she captioned the snap.

Looks like Janel went back to set for just one more day, as she also shared a pretty selfie on set. “Back to Margot 💕 #toalltheboysivelovedbefore2,” she wrote.

Janel then announced her next project. She will be starring in a production of the musical The Last Five Years in Los Angeles.

“Heading back to the stage this summer and couldn’t be happier. I love this musical!
