Jayden Bartels has released her new song “Jealous” and just dropped the music video!
The 15-year-old entertainer directed, filmed, and edited the video herself while in quarantine.
Just Jared Jr spoke to Jayden to find out what it was like making the new song.
“When writing ‘Jealous’, I wanted to capture the complex emotions that arise when you start to realize the person you want to be with wants someone else,” she said. “It is so easy to overthink every little thing because you can’t read the other person’s mind. We are constantly comparing ourselves to others, especially in a scenario where our feelings are no longer being reciprocated.”
In case you missed the exciting news, Jayden and Annie LeBlanc are teaming up for a new virtual talk show while in quarantine. Find out more here!
The BFFs will already be starring in Side Hustle, and will now be hosting a brand new, six episode, virtual talk show called Group Chat: The Show on Nickelodeon.
In Group Chat, each episode will also feature Hayley LeBlanc, along with fan-favorite stars, as they talk about the hottest trend topics of the week based on what kids are currently discussing across social media, play games and compete in challenges–all via video chat.
The kids’ network also announced another new series Game Face, where celebrities’ true identities are hidden behind an animated filter and voice changer in the game show, while a star-studded panel is given wacky clues and competes to decipher the mystery guest. Viewers can get in on the fun by downloading the show’s filters to transform into the same characters as their favorite celebrities.
Group Chat: The Show will premiere Saturday, May 23rd, at 8:30pm ET/PT, and Game Face will premiere on Saturday, June 13th, at 8:30pm ET/PT on Nickelodeon!
The 31-year-old entertainer went through a complete change to become a man for the video.
In the music video, Taylor had some pretty notable names in the social media world make cameos, and there’s even a very familiar voice in the end!
“My dad making his acting debut as ‘unimpressed umpire’ is a memory I’ll always cherish. Thank you to the entire cast and crew for helping me become the man I always knew I could be 😂,” she tweeted out after the video was released.

The real-life best friends are set to star in Side Hustle, which follows two friends who have to create a business fast after accidentally destroying their neighbor’s police vehicle.
The BFFs enlist the help of one of their younger brothers to create an app called “Kid-DING” to connect with people looking for help with small jobs and must do any jobs that come their way – no matter how crazy they are.
“So honored and grateful to be a part of this new opportunity! thank u so much! #SideHustle,” Annie wrote on her Instagram.
Jayden added, “so excited to announce our new Nickelodeon show Side Hustle!!! I’m so honored and grateful to be apart of this with my best friend! Stay tuned🥰 @nickelodeon”
The 15-year-old singer helped debut the trailer for the upcoming film and this time, the crew is competing for a summer scholarship to the prestigious Conservatory of Fine Arts.
In the video, the duo hit the arcade but it seems like Jayden is being controlled by Jackson‘s Gameboy.
By the end of the day, Jayden decides that she doesn’t want to play games anymore – in relationships or at the arcade – and she conveniently deletes Armani‘s player!
Kenzie Ziegler and Isaak Presley are all smiles while attending the L.A. premiere of Cirque Du Soleil’s “Volta” held at Dodger Stadium on Tuesday evening (January 21) in Los Angeles.
