Jesse Rath aka Brainiac-5 Upped To Series Regular on 'Supergirl'; Jeremy Jordan To Recur in Season 4

Supergirl is getting a little casting change for the upcoming season 4 on The CW.

Jeremy Jordan‘s Winn will be recurring when the superhero series returns this fall.

“We love Jeremy, and even though he’s [not going to be around full-time], we’re not saying goodbye to Winn at all,” executive producers Robert Rovner and Jessica Queller revealed to TVLine. “We’re already breaking big stories for him right now for the fall, and I think the fans will be excited to see what he has coming up.”

Details surrounding Winn’s future on the series will be revealed in tonight’s season finale.

Meanwhile, Jesse Rath, who plays Brainiac-5, has been upped to series regular.

“He brings such fun, heart and brilliance to Brainy, and we’re so excited he’s joining the cast as a series regular for season 4,” the two EPs added. “We have a lot of great Brainy stories to tell.”

Supergirl's Jeremy Jordan Really Wants To Be A Superhero

Supergirl's Jeremy Jordan Really Wants To Be A Superhero

Jeremy Jordan wouldn’t actually mind putting on a super suit at all.

The Supergirl star, who stars as Winn Schott on the CW series, spoke in a recent interview about his want to gain some super powers and turn into a hero.

“I’d love to play a superhero someday,” he shared. “I never get to do any of the green screen (special effects) stuff and I can’t say that I’m not a little bit jealous.”

So, what super powers would Jeremy want to gain? “I’d definitely want to fly. You can do so much when you fly. Or maybe I’d want to be able to make money out of thin air. Maybe not that one. It kind of makes me sound cheap.”

Another power he wouldn’t mind having? Invisibility, or…”maybe healing powers. Maybe that’s just because I hurt my back and I’m limping around, so I’m like, ‘I want super healing powers!’”
