Jessie Paege wrote a song about “how to survive being LGBTQ+ in school,” and it’s kind of awesome.
The YouTube star, who came out as bisexual at the end of June, took to her channel on Saturday (August 11) to post the new video.
She starts off by letting fans know that she drew inspiration from the tweets they’ve sent in as well as her own personal experiences.
Some highlights include: Join a diversity club, don’t come out until you’re ready, tell your teacher your pronouns before class, and if you want people to know, wear pride pins.
Jessie also reminds fans that dating is hard for all of us, you’re not alone, and if a friend isn’t supportive, they’re not really a friend.

The YouTube star – who recently came out as bisexual – has added a rainbow of neon colors to her blonde locks, which she showed off in a new video she posted on her channel on Saturday (July 14).
“I can’t walk anywhere without getting a thousand stares from every single person,” she laughs. “Like, ‘Oh my gosh, what is this girl? What did she do?’”
“This has to be my favorite color and style I have EVER EVER had,” she adds in the video caption. “I have had blue hair, pink hair, brown hair, blonde hair, and just love to always have my hair colored and had to go back. ALSO ENJOY THE JUMPSUIT CAMEO IN THE INTRO HEHE.”
“Doing one color is even so terrifying for me,” Jessie explains, “but going to rainbow is something that I’d always kind of envisioned. For me, the rainbow symbolizes more than just LGBTQ+ pride, but it just reminds me overall of how far I’ve come.”
Jessie Paege has come out as bisexual in a powerful new video to her fans.
The video marks her first in a long while, which she promised would change everything. In her video, the 19-year-old explained that she also identifies as demisexual.
“This video has been beyond long overdue,” Jessie write in the notes section. “I send love to you all and hope you all embrace your identities.”
She adds, “I’m incredibly nervous to post this, but I’ll feel relieved. I wanted to dive into my relationships and experiences through middle school, high school, etc.”
You might have noticed that Jessie Paege isn’t on YouTube as much as she was before, and some fans have noticed.
The 20-year-old creator and influencer wrote a touching letter to her fans explaining just why she’s been away and it’s because she’s taking care of her before anything else.
“I apologize for being INCREDIBLY inactive on youtube. I’ve been putting all my heart and soul into a video going up this Friday,” Jessie explains, assuring fans that there is new content to come.
She adds, “It’s my favorite video I’ve ever made and will absolutely change EVERYTHING. With that, comes a lot of anxiety and nerves, but I’m truly ready. Everything will make sense.”
Jessie Paege wore men’s clothing for a week and totally rocked it!
The 19-year-old social media star took the challenge to wear only wear clothing from the men’s section and documented the whole thing on her YouTube channel.
“A lot of you have been asking for me to film a video where I discuss gender and gender stereotypes so I decided to film a whole entire week of wearing men’s clothing,” Jessie explained.
She added, “It’s 2018 and I believe that gender is an identity that you should be able to control and that comes with everything – your pronouns, even how you chose to dress!”
