Debby Ryan Celebrates Six Year Anniversary of 'Jessie' Premiere!

Can you believe it’s been six years since the premiere of Debby Ryan‘s Disney Channel show Jessie!?

The 24-year-old actress is reminiscing about the show’s debut back in 2011 and we can’t get over how little Cameron Boyce, Karan Brar, Peyton List and Skai Jackson looked!

“Today in 2011, Jessie premiered on Disney Channel. I got to pitch, produce and cast my dream job right outta high school with special folks,” Debby wrote on her Twitter.

She added, “The kids were such smol nuggets and each so captivating. Such an adventure and a ride and now they’re all grown and killing it.”

“Our writers, costume, set dec, FX, stunt team, hair/makeup, props, scriptie and every other department created a wonderland of playtime. We shot over 100 episodes across 4 seasons as Disney’s first straight-to-series pickup. I became their youngest female director and producer,” Debby wrote.

She concluded, “We got to open our conversation from adoption to blended families to military families, caretakers, wild pets; Love can look like anything. So if you ever watched, rewatched, quoted, laughed at, learned from, insidejoked with, stayed up for or loved Jessie, thank you. You’re why.”

So can there be a Jessie reunion soon please!?

A 'Jessie' Fan Asked Bertram To Prom & Got Help From Peyton List

A 'Jessie' Fan Asked Bertram To Prom & Got Help From Peyton List

Put this Prom ask on the top of the cool list!

One Jessie fan actually asked Kevin Chamberlin, who played butler Bertram, to her prom and got some major help from his co-star Peyton List.

When the fan asked Kevin to her prom, she asked just how many RT’s on social she would need to make it happen and he gave them to her — 100,000 RTs and 500,000 likes — AND IT HAPPENED!

Right now, the Twitter post has over 183,000 RTs and 543,000 likes!

“come through @kevinchamberlin,” Peyton shared on her Twitter, with other fans saying the prom date probably wouldn’t happen — but don’t doubt Kevin.

“Should I wear a classic black tie tux or go retro with top hat and tails?” “I should probably coordinate with you. What color is your dress?” were two of the questions Kevin asked his prom date.

We definitely can’t wait to see if this happens — we’re hoping it really does!

JJJ Picks Our Fave 'Jessie' Moments Before The Series Finale Tonight

JJJ Picks Our Fave 'Jessie' Moments Before The Series Finale Tonight

Throughout four seasons on Disney Channel, Jessie has had some memorable moments and JJJ‘s collected just a few of our faves.

And by a few, we mean 20 moments that we absolutely LOVED — like when Emma (Peyton List) turned her hair purple as part of her teenage rebellion, Zuri (Skai Jackson) getting really into character as a mastermind on Jessie’s (Debby Ryan) film, Bertram (Kevin Chamberlin) reuniting with his “boy band”… and we can not forget Bertram calling out all the kids before Jessie’s wedding to Brooks (Pierson Fode).

Bertram and Jessie will still be our favorite friendship on Disney Channel, even after the show is over, and we can’t forget when both Kevin and Debby stepped behind the camera to direct!

Cameron Boyce Can't Wait For 'Jessie's 10 Year Reunion - Read His Goodbye Letter Here!

Cameron Boyce Can't Wait For 'Jessie's 10 Year Reunion - Read His Goodbye Letter Here!

We’re just one day away from saying goodbye to Jessie forever.

JJJ‘s enlisted the cast to write their fans and characters goodbye letters before it all ends and so far, Skai Jackson, Karan Brar and Kevin Chamberlin have brought us to tears.

But Cameron BoyceCameron‘s will make you smile. Read it below:

“Wow, where has the time gone? How does 4 seasons and 101 episodes (a quarter of my life) fly by that quickly? For all of the people involved in the greatest job an 11 year old me could ask for:

Luke,

You little scamp… I’m going to miss your infectious spirit. I’ll miss your witty and crude comebacks too. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll even miss your flatulence… You allowed me to do what I love with the people it didn’t take me long to fall in love with. You were passionate and driven. One day you will catch a home run in Yankee Stadium. One day you will find your biological mother. Even though it hasn’t happened in four years I have the utmost confidence that one day you will win over Jessie. You will always hold a special place in my heart. After living in your shoes for so long there will always be a bit of you in me. I’m glad the fans enjoyed you, I did too. I’ll miss you, your siblings, your butler, and your nanny. Try to be good.

P.S. It’s spelled “summer school.”

Crew,

You guys already know how highly I think of you. Not only were you great at your trained profession but somehow you managed to come together and raise 4 pubescent teenagers… I couldn’t ask for a better “village.” You are brilliant, all of you. You kept me humble. I’ve been so fortunate to receive an infinite amount of knowledge from you. Thanks for the love, the hugs, the laughs, the cries, the memories.

Cast,

My on screen family turned real life family. This is when the tears start to well. We rode that roller coaster together. The most thrilling, exciting, unpredictable, dangerous, scary, adrenaline pumping roller coaster. It had fire, loops, twists, turns and lap belts. But we made it didn’t we. You guys are never far from my thoughts. I learned from each and every one of you and I’m so grateful that I have life long friends that I know I can go to at any time. I love you all. Can’t wait for our ten year reunion at Kev’s house.

Fans,

You guys have seen it ALL. No eyebrows, no pants, no hair. If we did our job right we made you laugh, think and maybe even cry. You guys are the reason we’re able to do what we love to do. Thanks for believing in us and watching our story unfold.

Also a special thanks to Disney for this life changing opportunity! I’m so grateful for the past five years and I’m so glad that even though 3 of the main 6 cast members from Jessie, including me, are doing other things, you kept the Ross kids story going. Watch Bunk’d on Disney Channel, Gamers Guide on Disney XD, go see Kevin on Broadway, and catch Debby in concert! We’re still taking over!”

Stay tuned for more Jessie posts on JJJ!
