Trevor Jackson & Tyler James Williams Have 'Let It Shine' Reunion at EW's Upfronts Party

Trevor Jackson and Tyler James Williams met up inside the Entertainment Weekly & PEOPLE New York Upfronts Party held at The Bowery Hotel on Monday night (May 14) in New York City.

The two actors actually starred in Disney Channel’s Let It Shine together many years ago, and we only wish Coco Jones was there too!

Inside the party, Trevor also met up with his grown-ish cast Francia Raisa, Halle Bailey, Jordan Buhat and Chloe Bailey as well as Siren‘s Alex Roe and Fola Evans-Akingbola, and ShadowhuntersHarry Shum, Jr.

In tonight’s episode, Vivek (Jordan Buhat) really wants Cash to make an appearance at his birthday party and convinces Zoey (Yara Shahidi) not to get rid of him from her life before he comes.

Meanwhile, Zoey is trying to deal with a bunch of Instagram haters and wonders if it’s time to alter her brand.

Francia Raisa Previews There Will Be Political Arguments Coming on 'grown-ish'

Francia Raisa snaps a pic with co-star Chloe Bailey inside the Freeform Summit in Los Angeles on Thursday night (January 18).

The two grown-ish stars celebrated their season two renewal at the event along with Yara Shahidi, Trevor Jackson, Jordan Buhat, Halle Bailey, and Emily Arlook.

Speaking with US Weekly at the event, Francia previewed that Ana’s Republican side will be coming out soon.

“There’s so much that happens on this show,” she shared. “I’m the only Republican in our friend group, so expect my voice to be heard on that and an argument to basically start because a lot of people don’t like that side of me. So it touches on a lot of issues.”

Freeform's 'grown-ish' Debuts Opening Credits & New Promo Pics!

Freeform is gearing up for the premiere of its’ brand new show, grown-ish, by releasing not only the opening credits, but a handful of new promo pics!

The new series stars Yara Shahidi, Trevor Jackson, Emily Artook, Luka Sabbat, Chloe Bailey, Halle Bailey, Francia Raisa, Jordan Buhat, Deon Cole and Chris Parnell — and JJJ has the first promo pics!

The network also revealed the opening credits, with a song performed by Chloe x Halle called “grown” — which totally fits.

grown-ish will premiere on Wednesday, January 3rd with back-to-back episodes starting at 8PM ET/PT.

Yara Shahidi & Francia Raisa's New Show 'grown-ish' Was Based Off A Twitter Meme

The cast of grown-ish gather up for a group shot at a screening event for the show in Los Angeles on Wednesday (December 13).

Yara Shahidi, Trevor Jackson, Francia Raisa, Halle Bailey, Chloe Bailey, Emily Arlook, Jordan Buhat and Chris Parnell gathered with creator Kenya Barris to chat about the show — which was actually inspired by a meme!

“I saw a meme one day and it said, ‘Where would Zoey go to college?’ I was like, ‘This is a f�ing show.’ That was my lightbulb moment,” Kenya told Variety.

He adds that the show will be tackling all issues that college students face during their tenure: “We wanted to make sure we gave as honest an experience of what this walk is as possible. This is a generation with a lot to say.”

“The one thing my generation is good at is finding a model for success,” Yara says.

grown-ish will debut on Wednesday, January 3rd on Freeform.

Francia Raisa Returns To TV in 'Grown-ish' With Yara Shahidi!

Francia Raisa is making her return to television and to Freeform on grown-ish!

The actress, who you know best from The Secret Life of the American Teenager, has joined the new half-hour comedy, alongside Jordan Buhat and Chloe x Halle.

Francia will play Ana, an outspoken conservative freshman at Southern California University, while Jordan is Vivek, a first generation Indian-American freshman with an endearing lack of self-awareness.

Chloe x Halle will portray twin sisters Sky and Jazz, who are on the track team at the college.

Yara Shahidi leads the show as Zoey Johnson, who heads off to college and quickly discovers that not everything goes her way once she leaves the nest.

The series will premiere in 2018.
