Jordyn Jones is over everyone she knows and sees cursing and using swear words everywhere.
The social star, who’s amassed 3.5 million Instagram and over 300k Twitter followers, chatted with JJJ after seeing just how many other influencers were doing just that and hoping that they can change, because they are role models for young kids and need to show them what’s right and wrong.
“I started realizing it in middle school, but now it’s a ‘normal thing’ for kids to do, and they think it’s cool or something,” Jordyn tells us, adding that she can’t make anyone change, but she still hopes to.
She says, “I hope everyone takes a second and reads this. I can’t make anyone change, but I can try.”
“It’s actually really sad that they [the influencers] say they do it to fit in… BE YOURSELF!” Jordyn adds. “They need to realize that they have a lot of influence on younger kids!”
So what advice does she have for her fans about cursing just like some other influencers? “Please just spread positivity, be yourself, and have good vibes.”
The social star, singer and dancer has teamed up with Beach Bunny Swimwear’s activewear line, B|FIT, for their new collection.
“Because of my background in dance, I designed my looks with fabrics that are comfortable and flexible, allowing for a wide range of movement no matter what activity you’re doing,” Jordyn shared about collaborating on the collection.
Jordyn was inspired by her personal style for the line, which features 13 styles in crisp neutral shades of black, white and charcoal, along with trending colorblock and stripe pieces.
“If I had to describe my collection in three words, it would be comfortable, chic and fun,” Jordyn added.
“I want Beach Bunny customers to feel like they can achieve anything they set their minds and bodies to while looking and feeling stylish at the same time.”
The three social stars teamed up with Mudd for the 2017 spring campaign, dubbed “Destination Country Music”.
