Josh Hutcherson was the most recent guest on Dax Shepard‘s Armchair Expert podcast and opened up about his life as a successful child actor, including all the crushes he had on his co-stars.
One big crush he had was on Zathura co-star Kristen Stewart.
“She was the coolest person I ever met,” Josh shared. “It was a big time crush at the time. 100 percent.”
Josh even remembered the gift she had gotten him for his 12th birthday, that he celebrated at a bowling alley during filming.
“Kristen came, she kind of walks up to me and she has her hands behind her back,” he remembered. “I was like, ‘Am I going to get kissed?’ She brings her hands out and she’s got a turtle. She’s like, ‘Yeah, they live to be 85. He’s less than 1.’”
Sadly, the turtle didn’t make it to 85: “It’s been dead for a while.”
During his interview, Josh spilled on where he’d want to time travel, like his character on Future Man.
“I would want to do like New York City in the 50s with like the Patti Smith crowd just to see what that was like. I would want to do prehistoric times just to see what it was like before we started it screw it all up. And then I’d jump like 15 years from now to see if anything’s left!” Josh explained.
