In the sci-fi comedy series, Josh will play Josh Futturman, a janitor by day and a gamer by night, who is recruited by mysterious visitors to travel through time to prevent the extinction of humanity.
Future Man begins streaming on Hulu on November 14.
The 25-year-old Hunger Games actor was photographed sporting a leg brace on his right leg while walking through LAX on Monday (October 30) in Los Angeles.
The stars were also joined by fellow cast mates Jack Quaid and Craig Robsinson as at the screening held during the 2017 Screamfest Horror Film Festival.
The horror flick is about two death-obsessed teenage girls who use their online show about real-life tragedies to send their small mid-western town into a frenzy and cement their legacy as modern horror legends.
Tragedy Girl hits theaters on October 20.

The Hunger Games alum – sporting a leg brace – previewed the show at the Paley Center for Media’s 11th Annual PaleyFest Fall TV Previews held at the Paley Center on Friday (September 8) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
In the half-hour sci-fi comedy series, Josh plays Josh Futturman – a janitor by day and a gamer by night – who is recruited by mysterious visitors to travel through time to prevent the extinction of humanity.
“What’s cool about him is that he has a hero’s journey, but it’s not the typical, ‘Oh, at the beginning, he’s a weak dweeb, and then he’s the most badass fighter of all time,’” Josh said (via Paste). “He maintains his truth throughout the entire season, and that’s what helps propel the mission forward [through his] genuine care for people and keeping a moral center. That is very important.”
