Earlier in the day, the 24-year-old actress joined co-star Josh Duhamel and author Nicholas Sparks for a book signing at Easons.

“It’s definitely one of those characters where playing guarded and having a wall up is kind of a hard thing if you’re trying to fall in love with somebody,” Julianne shared of playing Katie with CTV.

“My only fashion advice [is] if you want to do something fun, pick one thing, like shoes or a bag,” Julianne dished in her March 2013 Self cover story. “I used to match everything. Like, I’d wear gold shoes, a gold belt, a gold shirt, a gold headband, all the way down to gold eyeshadow. I probably won’t do that anymore. Simple is best.”

Julianne Hough tosses her new shoe collection for Sole Society up in the air at the Vince Camuto showroom in Midtown, New York City on Wednesday afternoon (February 13).
The 24-year-old actress stopped by the showroom to put the finishing touches on her line.
“I’ve always wanted to create and make things,” Julianne recently told InStyle of her design process. “I picked exact embellishments, buckles, and fabrics. It was really hands-on!”
She added, “I think you will feel sassy and fun when you put the shoes on. Fashion is supposed to bring out your personality and shoes are the best way to do that.”

Julianne Hough gets flirty on one of three covers for the March 2013 issue of Self magazine.
The 24-year-old actress chatted it up with the glossy about her eating habits, boyfriend Ryan Seacrest and wanting to shave her head! Check it:
On licking her plate clean: “I have a hard time not finishing my plate. I got that from my grandma. When we’d be full, she’d say, ‘You dished your plate. You gotta eat it all,’ I’d say, ‘Grandma, but I’m so full.’ She’d say, ‘Stand up and jump up and down.’ We’d jump to get out food down quicker, so we could stuff more in there. Now, it literally looks like I’ve licked my plate after dinner.”
On losing her hair one day soon: “One day I will shave my head. I don’t know when that day will be, but I want to. When I had long hair, I always felt like I had to look pretty. With short hair, I feel more fun and free.”
On Ryan: “Ryan plays my supporter. From day one, I’ve said that I’m here to accomplish my goals whether somebody is in my life or not. I’d never want anybody to be in control of what I do. He knows that’s big with me.”
