Justin Timberlake delivers such a great acceptance speech while receiving the Decade award at the 2016 Teen Choice Awards held at The Forum on Sunday (July 31) in Inglewood, Calif.
The 35-year-old entertainer was given the award on stage by NBA’s Kobe Bryant.
“As a former teen, a while ago, who’s made a few choices along the way, I’m here to tell you that you and your choices matter,” Justin said.
“My parents did their best to fill my young mind not with prejudice or hate but with compassion and love,” Justin continued. “I think it’s part of the reason why, to this day, I try to live my life working most closely with, making music with, and spending so much of my time with an amazing group of people – male, female, straight, gay, every walk of life.”
FYI: Justin is wearing a Dolce&Gabbana shirt and sweater, William Rast chinos, and Adidas sneakers.
Here’s a synopsis of the movie: An unlikely pair of Trolls, Poppy (Kendrick), the optimistic leader of the Trolls, and her polar opposite, Branch (Timberlake), must embark on an adventure that takes them far beyond the only world they’ve ever known.
