Kaia Gerber beats the heat in a cute matching blue sports bra and leggings while stopping by a local store and grabbing a cool drink to go on Friday afternoon (June 19) in Los Angeles.
After a workout, Kaia took to social media to share some education with her followers about Juneteenth.
“today is Juneteenth. this was not a holiday that I learned about in school,” Kaia admits on Instagram. “the fact that this piece of history is washed over in textbooks is beyond problematic, because Black history is American history and it should not be overlooked.”
She continued, “I am still learning, too – but I wanted to share some important information below about the truth we aren’t being taught…Juneteenth commemorates the real end of slavery in the United States. although the Emancipation Proclamation came two years earlier (in 1863), many slave owners continued to keep Black people captive in Texas. it wasn’t until June 19, 1865 that the 250,000 enslaved people in Texas were freed.” ⠀
“today, Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom, a time to reflect and a time to educate. it is also a reminder that NO ONE is free until EVERYONE is free. please read more about Juneteenth, and advocate for this day to be a recognized national holiday. this is our Independence Day,” Kaia added.
Cole and the 18-year-old model were joined by famous friends included his Riverdale co-star Madelaine Petsch, Baby Driver actress Eiza Gonzalez, and Fosse/Verdon actress Margaret Qualley.

Kaia Gerber and Gregg Sulkin star in the video, which was directed by Cara Delevingne. They play a couple that has broken up and the model reminisces about their relationship. The video includes flashbacks to their time together and the young stars have a steamy makeout session.

Oh no! Kaia Gerber has injured herself while in quarantine, but it looks like she’s going to be fine based on the new photo she posted.
The 18-year-old model took to Instagram to share a bikini selfie and show off her injured arm, which is currently wrapped in a blue cast that goes above the elbow.
“had a little accident but i’m okay!” Kaia captioned the photo.
Kaia also shared an X-ray that revealed that she had dislocated her wrist. There may be more to the injury since the cast had to go past her elbow.
In a recent interview, Kaia revealed the one thing that she continues to wear daily while she is in quarantine, and it’s not an article of clothing. See what she never forgets to put on each day!
“I’ve been struggling because one of my favorite pastimes was going and getting tattoos, and nobody’s been able to do that,” she said.
“So, in the meantime, I gave myself a stick and poke.”
However, she says she does “not recommend” the experience.
“I think I have a newfound appreciation for tattoo artists. It’s not easy…I didn’t get too ambitious. I gave myself a dot, just so I could be like, ‘All right, I got a tattoo this month, I’m cool.’”
She also revealed her favorite tattoos: “I have a Picasso painting on my arm,” she said.
“It’s hard to pick a favorite! I also have the word mom tattooed on me. I think I was so worried I was going to regret every tattoo I got, and they all represent such an important time in my life, even if the tattoo itself doesn’t have much importance. It’s like they’re all memories, so I don’t feel like I could ever see myself regretting them.”
Joining the model pals was Cara‘s girlfriend Ashley Benson.
