Kalani Hilliker is defending her endorsement of President Donald Trump.

The 20-year-old dancer, who voted for the first time, shared a new statement about her support and where it lies.

“I haven’t endorsed a political candidate in the past but as a first time voter myself I felt that now more than ever it was important for everyone to use their voice and vote, no matter who they’re voting for,” she wrote in a note shared to Twitter. “There were 2 candidates to choose from and although I don’t fully agree with either, I believe Trump is the better choice for our country.”

“It’s important to note that I support the LGBTQ, Latino, African American, Asian American, and all other ethnic communities. I am also a strong supporter of women’s rights,” Kalani continued. “No one should be deterred from expressing their opinion in fear of being bashed, bullied, and denounced publicly by their friends.”

“I felt obligated to exercise my 1st amendment right to serve as a reminder to my friends and anyone else that feels they have to live a double life,” she said. “Supporting and voting for one candidate privately yet publicly supporting the other outo of fear of being attacked simply for their political beliefs.”

“No matter what the results are we need to remember that we’re all Americans and we need to respect one another, have productive conversations, and work together for the betterment of our country.”

Tyler Oakley was quick to respond, saying, “nah. supporting a racist, sexist, anti-LGBTQ+ fascist is a permanent stain on your character. live with that.”

Kalani‘s former Dance Moms co-star Nia Sioux has spoken about her endorsement.

Nia Sioux is directly responding to Kalani Hilliker.

The 19-year-old dancer and singer reposted Kalani‘s Instagram story and added her own response.

“I definitely think everyone needs to respect each other but it’s so hard to respect a president who doesn’t respect me, or women, or minorities, or the LGBTQ community,” Nia said.

“I’m all for respecting people but at a certain point when someone can’t even denounce white supremacy how can you have respect for that person?” she added.

“American Hasn’t been great and it’s not going to be great until we have people in office that care about people other than themselves,” said another response on her post.

The 18-year-old dancer’s first name was a top trending topic after fans rallied to support her after fellow former Dance Moms star Kalani Hilliker shared her support for Donald Trump for re-election.

“No matter who you’re voting for use your voice and vote!!! It’s your right!!! ❤️ 🇺🇸 #Trump202020,” Kalani wrote on Twitter on Tuesday morning (November 3). Kendall Vertes also retweeted her.

The night before, she shared Instagram stories, saying, “america is the greatest country because everyone has the freedom to express their own opinions so no matter what happens this week we need to all come together as americans and respect one another ❤️ 🇺🇸”

Her other story was a photo of Trump at a rally, where she wrote the same thing she tweeted.

After her posts, fans took to Twitter to show support for Maddie, Nia Sioux and Chloe Lukasiak, who are all first time voters and seemingly voted for Joe Biden. They all shared conversations on Instagram with his granddaughter Finnegan Biden about voting and the importance of the election.

The three entertainers were joined by many others inside the party, including models Elsa Hosk, Romee Strijd, Josephine Skriver, Jasmine Tookes, Yvonne Simone, Madison Grace, Amelia Gray Hamlin and Delilah Belle Hamlin.

Lele Pons, Paris Hilton, Anastasia “Stassie” Karanikolaou, Josie Canseco, and Kalani Hilliker were also spotted having a good time inside the bash.

The party celebrated boohoo.com’s Holiday 2019 Campaign, where the entered through a light tunnel, and enjoyed a performance by DJ and producer, Diplo.

The -year-old former Dance Moms star and influencer was joined at the chic event by Sofia Richie, Erika Costell, Lexi Wood, and Jasmine Tookes.

If you didn’t know, Kalani is the host of Facebook Watch’s new dating format series, Kiss, Date, Eliminate.

The webseries is an eight-episode social experiment, in which participants make their first impressions with a kiss. From there, they have to decide whether there’s a spark worth exploring on a follow-up date. If the first kiss is a dud, there’s no chance to make it up.
