The two young actors were nominated for Best Kiss at the show for their performances in Moonrise Kingdom.
JJJ spotted Jared on the carpet meeting The Avengers director Joss Whedon.
“My mom took me to the mall. We went to Nordstrom. We picked out some stuff,” Jared dished to us on the carpet about his wardrobe. “It’s nice going to an award show in somewhat casual clothing.”

Kara Hayward brightens up the red carpet as she arrives at HBO’s Post 2013 Golden Globe Awards Party held at Circa 55 Restaurant at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday evening (January 13) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The 14-year-old Moonrise Kingdom actress, who wore an Honor dress with Ferragamo shoes and clutch, also headed to the Warner Bros. And InStyle Golden Globe Awards After Party held at the Oasis Courtyard.
