Karen Gillan keeps on laughing during her appearance on Conan on Thursday night (September 27) in Los Angeles.

The 24-year-old Scottish actress and the host chatted about their mutual red locks.

“We’re called gingers and kind of made fun of in the UK. So it’s nice to come here, where everyone is like ‘Yea, you have nice hair,’” she shared.

Karen just made her final bow on Doctor Who over the weekend.

“Feast your eyes on Doctor Who tonight. Me and @RattyBurvil have to go and I’m not ready for this!!!!” she tweeted during the finale.

The mag shot inside and around 10 Downing Street, Westminster Abbey, the Foreign Office, Hyde Park Barracks and Lancaster House.

“Me and officer Dean for Marie Claire. They let us inside!!!!!” Karen excitedly tweeted earlier this month.

The fashion shoot was a partnership with the This is GREAT Britain campaign, which is designed to showcase Britain’s capabilities, to promote and enhance the country’s reputation abroad.

Karen recently told The List that after her character Amy Pond bows off of the show, she won’t be coming back.

“I decided there’d be no cameo returns after I leave. I want the impact of the end of the Pond era to remain strong. I don’t want to spoil it by coming back a few episodes later to say hello,” she shared. “I feel like I’ve grown up and that I can now handle situations a bit better because I’m a more assertive person. I’m starting to feel more like the person that I want to be.”

“There’s so much I’m going to miss. I’m definitely going to miss these guys (Matt and Arthur [Darvill]), we’ve become quite good friends now,” Karen recently shared about her departure from the hit series. “I’m going to miss running down corridors away from monsters – it’s just the most fun. Now I’m going to do TV shows where I’m just talking with people.”

The 24-year-old actress, in Dolce & Gabbana, dished to Telegraph about not reading her final Doctor Who script until she really had to.

“I didn’t want to make it real. The gap between me receiving the script and actually reading it must have been a few weeks. But then eventually I did and it’s a brilliant, emotional episode,” she shared.

The new season of Doctor Who premieres August 26th on BBC.

Karen Gillan holds on to a red umbrella while filming new scenes for Not Another Happy Ending on Monday afternoon (July 30) in Glasgow, Scotland.

In the film, the 24-year-old red-headed actress portrays a successful author whose publisher tries to get her out of her writers block. However, with her newfound success, she’s become too damn happy and she can’t write when she’s happy. The only trouble is, the worse he makes her feel, the more he realizes he’s in love with her.

The flick, set to debut in 2013, is being directed by John McKay and costars Stanley Weber and Henry Ian Cusick.
