Victoria Justice & Matthew Daddario's New Movie 'Trust' Gets March Release Date!

We finally have a release date and new title for Victoria Justice and Matthew Daddario‘s upcoming movie!

The duo will star in Trust, which was originally titled Push, and it will be out on March 12th. We also got the first look photo!

The film reunites the two who previously worked together on Naomi & Ely’s No Kiss List, and it also reunites Matthew with his Shadowhunters co-star Katherine McNamara!

Here’s a synopsis: Set in the glamour of the New York and Paris art scenes, gallery owner Brooke Gatwick (Justice) and her newscaster husband Owen (Daddario), face temptation, jealousy, twists and mystery when two seductive newcomers (Lucien Laviscount and McNamara) enter their lives.

“so excited for this,” Victoria shared on Instagram story with the news.

“Big thanks and congrats to everyone who worked on this! Lots of lovely actors and an amazing team behind the camera. Great job!” Matthew wrote on his account.

If you missed it, Victoria and Matthew were spotted filming the movie in New York over a year ago, in January 2020. Fans freaked out and initially thought that maybe a Naomi & Ely sequel was happening, as their characters [spoiler alert] ended up together at the end of the movie.

Just a couple weeks before those pictures, Victoria and Katherine posed for photos together at a disco themed party in West Hollywood, Calif.

CW President Mark Pedowitz Reveals What Really Happened With 'Green Arrow & The Canaries'

We are getting some answers on why the Arrow spinoff Green Arrow & The Canaries didn’t move forward at The CW.

The network’s president Mark Pedowitz opened up about what really happened with the potential series.

“Timing. We couldn’t quite figure out a model similar to Stargirl and couldn’t quite get there,” he said, via THR. “We were hoping to have it start at HBO Max and take a second run on The CW, but we couldn’t figure out how to do it and couldn’t make it all work.”

In case you forgot, Stargirl actually first premiered on the DC Comics streaming service, and would then air the next day on The CW. Since, the show was picked up for season two at The CW and the DC streaming platform eventually folded into HBO Max.

If you missed it, the show, which would have starred Katherine McNamara, Katie Cassidy and Juliana Harkavy, was officially “passed on” last week.

Katherine expressed that she was definitely bummed about the news. See what she said!
